But the California Air Resources Board won't give vouchers to install the new device, according to city consultant Audrey Taylor of Chabin Concepts. CARB will give a fleet owner, like the city of Chico, a voucher to buy a new vehicle, and then they are allowed to sell their old polluters, resulting, as Audrey put it, "in a net gain of zero." The city will get new, trendy looking cars, but their old "junkers" will be prowling the freeways around us for eternity.

Patricia, this is the kind of garbage legislation that we've been getting out of your "progressives" - huge expenditures of hard earned tax money that result in a "net gain of zero". Yes, I'd rather take a few steps back, and then try another direction.

CARB, and liberals like Patricia, don't want solutions that work. Transfer Flow is the enemy to them. What they want, much like our President, is to shrink the economy and put Americans "in their place" and more equal with the global market. We've prospered for too long in their eyes.

Vote YES on 23 if you value your money and your freedom.

I think we in California made a fundamental decision in the 1970s that we want clean air, water and land. We reject the kind of Republic Party deregulation that leads to severe pollution, safety and health hazards like in West Virginia. Is the diesel thing over the top?

Well, Germany has mostly diesel engines in their cars and trucks, yet they run clean. The Germans have the technology and it works. The Republic Party yacks about job-killing policies the Dems have but the rightwing policies have caused tens of millions of good American jobs to migrate to China, India and Mexico, simply because it saves money.
