Virginia Foxx Uses Strong Words to Oppose Health Care Reform Bill

As Democrats on Capitol Hill gain steam with a new deal to reform health care in the U.S., Republicans are stepping up their rhetoric to derail a plan they see as just more bureaucracy with dangerous implications.

No, Foxx is not correct. Foxx is an idiot. Foxx should be run out of office for spitting out this ridiculous rhetoric simply to agitate people. There is absoulutely nothing about euthanasia in the Democratic Healthcare Plan. For a Congressperson to even suggest this is totally irresponsible. The only possible "death" contained in the President's plan is some of the huge profits private insurance companies currently enjoy.
There are so many people without any form of health care coverage right now. A huge chunk of those monthly premiums never leave the insurance companies. Hospitals, doctors and other healthcare professionals don't see as much profit and financial gain as Blue Cross, et al.
We have to find a way to provide health care for all Americans. Foxx running around trying to scare old people by suggesting the Federal Government is going to kill them instead of offering realistic and constructive alternative solutions isn't helping.

On an old posting board I was on, one poster put up an article screaming about the huge profits one health insurance company was making in California.

I looked at the numbers and broke them down taking into account reserves and other expenses, the profit margin was about 6% for the business. In that time period bank CD's were paying a bit more than 6% on a 5 year maturity period. I pointed out to the poster that the stockholders of the company would do better to dissolve the operation, take their cash and put in CD's and eliminate the headaches of owning a business.

I am betting Obama is absolutely clueless as to how to figure out a profit margin and even more clueless on what a profit good enough to sustain a business is. Many of the people who fall for this profits rant are not dount even more clueless than Obama is about profits.

William...It's not the American People that are blind..It's our elected Officials..Not only are they blind, they are deaf too..They don't seem to hear or see what is going on in most Americans Homes...My best advise to you William is vote them out of office..Get your Friends, Family, and anyone else you can to VOTE THEM OUT...And by the way I do agree with Ms. Foxx....
