Interesting watching this election race play out. Although 745 votes is not a large win by any rights, it would seem that the Goode camp is having a hard time accepting that he COULD lose. I would think that Goode would have adjusted to it already.

I think he wonders why people would not have voted for him. He feels he has done a good job for the area. I guess we'll find out if that was really true....

Finally, a change. Goode should just face the facts that he lost, and move on. I'm sure people can't wait for Tom Perriello, to represent with new ideas. Go Perriello !!!

I voted for Perriello, and I really DO hope he does a good job, but in order for that to happen, it's going to take alot more than just him.

Glad you're asking for a recount -- you can never tell when it's THAT CLOSE. And yes, it takes more then just our congressmen to do the job -- it takes them ALL. But hang in there Virgil -- the battle isn't over yet.

It's odd that thousands of votes just "managed" to surface after the election. I am glad Goode asked for a recount. Go Virgil, Go!

Im sure the people who bash Goode for demanding a recount are perfectly happy with a SNL Has-Been demanding a recount in Minnesota.

Virgil served me well when I lived in Charlottesville, and I hope he prevails. If not, Im sure he'll be back in the next election when the country is sick of Liberal BS again like they were in 1994.

I hope that nothing will be changed in recount. It is an embarrassment to have someone like Virgil Goode representing us in Congress. It makes us all look bad.

I hate to be the one to tell you "Fan of Goode" but your comment is lacking credability. The economy is at this low point from 8 years of a Republican ran country so you will have no one to blame but them, but I do give you credit for trying so late in the game to shift blame to a party that was in the minority at the time the crisis began and was ignored. Let's hope the Democratic Goverment will be able to repair the damage the Republicans have done.

Use some common sense and realize if the Democrats wanted to do something before now they could have banded together and done it. This country does not prosper from party lines both Republicans, Deomocrats, Independents and Green need to work together and stop blaming each other.

Why does he make us look bad?
