Yea, Thank you Virgil. Finally some one who also realizes that the Bail out is wrong. People need to read the Bailout. Go to http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/AYO08C32_... and read who the feds will be stealing a $trillion dollars from you. This is not the "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008’’. It is the Socialist Conversion act of 2008. McCain should never voted for this, if OB was going to vote for it you know it is wrong.
Cheers to you Virgil. Say no to socialism.

If Goode doesn't think the bailout bill was the proper way to address the current economic crisis, he needs to offer a better solution. I haven't heard any proposals from him that would bring jobs to Southside or do better to solve the nation's troubles.

Have you ever heard Goode offer a way to address anything with a better solution? I haven't. He better be thankful he's running against who he is -- sorry, Perriello, you don't stand a chance! The article says that from now to election day he'll give his input on the financial situation and what he'd do so I'll be interested in hearing what that is.

Such a sad state of affairs when people have lost all hope for themselves. Sounds like Elly and Aunt Sam have lost all hope. To bad that in a country that prides it's self on self reliance they have to look for a government hand out. More wards of the welfare state. More people to jump on Barry's socialist bandwagon traveling the country promising to steal from the haves and give to the lazy. Have they ever heard or moving to where the jobs are?

Remember kids, a vote for Goode is a vote for Obama. A hick like Virgil simply can't win enough of the vote to take the electoral vote, let alone the popular vote.

If you want Obama... you know the guy that's trouncing your first amendment rights, getting ready to severely reduce your second amendment rights, screw up your health care, tax you more till nobody has anything, and reducing the military to a shell... if you want him to go another 4 and put our debt at over 20 trillion by 2016, then you go right ahead and vote for Goode.

Romney for President!

Obama stood up for the right to post the anti-Islamic video (which I think is a mistake), the 'getting ready' 2nd amendment is a baseless scare tactic which hasn't come to pass, obamacare will lower healthcare costs from the provider side and will end up lowering consumer costs over Romney alternative, taxes have never been lower and he will actually save the average middle income earner thousands in taxes over Romney's plan, reducing military to a shell is ridiculous since he won't reduce it more than the military leaders need (it's congress that controls the budget pursestrings and overspends for political gain here), the majority of our current debt is due to bush's unfunded wars, tax cuts, prescription drug plan and trickle down policies that led to the economic collapse and revenue reduction. Romney will only be more of the same.

Why are people like you always trying to scare us that Democrats are out to take away our second amendment rights and take away our guns? Obama has not done that. Clinton did not do that. Carter did not do that. Johnson did not do that. Kennedy did not do that. Truman did not do that.

If anything, a gun rights voter should be picking Goode over Romney. Goode has been a strong and consistant champion of gun rights, and Romney has been half-hearted at best.

As far as first amendment rights, Obama has surprisingly stood strong as evidenced by his refusal to censor the anti-islamic online videos, even in the face of Arab violence. Our healthcare system is alread screwed up when we have to indirectly pay for the irresponsible as their costs are passed along to our medical bills and insurance, and providing incentives to use and pay for heath insurance is an excellent step in the other direction.

Obama has lowered taxes, not raised them, and proposes raising them on those earning over $250K, hardly being taxed to nothing.

Actually, by saying "hey kids," I think you are showing just how much contempt and little faith you have in voters to actually choose for themselves. You seem to have way too many "boogeymen" under your bed scaring you without reason. I hope I have eased some of your many fears, and you can support Romeny based on facts about his policy, rather than misguided fears about Obama or Goode.

Well mister Not a Kid, you should go read the DNC platform statement on the second amendment. It is all right there in glorious black and white.

Do you have a link? Google only returns thousands of right wing reinterpretations like this:

"We recognize that the individual right to bear arms is an important part of the American tradition, and we will preserve Americans Second Amendment right to own and use firearms. We believe that the right to own firearms is subject to reasonable regulation. We understand the terrible consequences of gun violence; it serves as a reminder that life is fragile, and our time here is limited and precious. We believe in an honest, open national conversation about firearms. We can focus on effective enforcement of existing laws, especially strengthening our background check system, and we can work together to enact commonsense improvementslike reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loopholeso that guns do not fall into the hands of those irresponsible, law-breaking few."

Which seems reasonable to me. Too tame, actually.

Is that why the NRA supported democrats over republicans in hotly contested elections last time? This article cites 58 democrats.

Funny how the right wing neanderthals aren't even aware that their Gawd given right to overcompensate their inadequacies with guns, is supported by their hero organization the NRA with donations to both parties. I'm not so sure its a gun they can pry their cold dead fingers from.

That cant be true. Democrats are liberals who want to tax us, spend money we dont have, ruin the economy, put us in debt, and take away our guns and our freedoms. Every single person on the radio says this. There is no way all those people could be wrong. I am open minded, so I listen lot lots of different points of view. Joe Thomas, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Bill o'Reily, Laura Ingram, Lars Larson, and lots of others. You cannot begin to tell me that all those different people are wrong! Unless you want criminals raping your children because the government took your guns and freedom, you have to vote for Republicans!
