Little Tommy Boy's days are numbered. It can't come too soon. He'll be making his contribution to helping Obama socialize America, then it's time for the grownups to take over.

Hurt is overall a very strong candidate: he's up to speed on all the key issues and is strongly committed to economic growth.

He will have to defend his 2004 vote in favor of Mark Warner's $1.4 billion tax increase. But I think that will be a minor issue.
