Look at these stats:

This alone tells you that we NEED Sheriff Joe to continue enforcement, and we actually need more just like him! And, considering he's in a state with a huge influx of illegals from Mexico, it goes without saying that the majority of people questioned will *be* Hispanic. That doesn't make it racial profiling, it's just common sense.

If you have 70% Hispanic, who do you think will get pulled over more, or questioned more? In areas that are majority white, it is the whites that get pulled over more. That is common sense!

Just like everyone squawks about "more whites are on welfare" and conveniently forgetting whites make up like 4-times the number of the rest of the people, so of course "more" will be on welfare. These same people forget statistics and how to look at percents, which show minorities disproportionately receive benefits when compared to their percent of the whole.

However, in the case of crime, when you have a majority Hispanic and a majority of suspects stopped and arrested that are Hispanic, hey, it just makes sense.

There are no *racist* laws. Please name the racist laws. Racist laws would be laws such as when there was segregation -- whites can go there and blacks can't; whites can sit in front and blacks can't; and so on. We don't have any racist laws.

Our laws now apply to everyone equally. Just because low/no skilled/educated people don't qualify to come here does not make it a racist law. Just because the vast majority of illegal aliens are from Mexico doesn't make *us* racist. Just because Arizona, being a border state, and thus having tons of Hispanics committing crimes, does not make immigration enforcement racist.

No State needs Federal to enforce immigration laws as all States have their own independence and their own immigration laws. Case in point: Hospitals taking the initiative to repatriate illegal aliens who have been medically stabilized, the courts held that hospitals and States have jurisdiction to do so.

I hope that Sheriff Joe keeps on doing the job that he was doing. I feel that if the Obama government tries to stop him that they are going to have one heck of a lot of pissed off Citizens to deal with, and they just may start the civil war that they do not want.

In today's Arizona Republic, Sheriff Arpaio reiterated that he will continue to enforce the immgration laws no matter what obstacles are placed in front of him by the pro illegal crackpots!

I think you're confused. That is because they took away the 287g program from Sheriff Joe. Since 287g is a Federal Program, of course they made it happen. That does not, however, mean he won't be able to enforce state immigration laws, and even the article says that -- he only has the federal part taken away.

If states had no say, they would not have their own immigraiton (and other) laws. It would all be federal law being followed.

They want to run our health care (and not let us have anything as good as theirs), banks (they bailed out instead of helping the people that were defaulting on loans) and auto industry (instead of helping the people who now can not afford to budget for a new car ... like raising minimum wage was going help people afford a car) instead of what needs real attention - the mass attack on our society by those who are breaking OUR LAWS OF THE LAND!!
