Congressman: Obama is an "enemy of humanity" for his pro-choice...

A Republican congressman who called President Barack Obama an "enemy of humanity" said Tuesday that he should have made clear that he was referring to the president's policies related to abortion.

It used to be that if two people disagreed then they debated the issues, worked out an agreement, and then celebrated over a beer.
Congressman Trent Franks is so arrogant and intolerant that President Obama "has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of humanity" or "unborn humanity" as he now claims.
This is borderline treason coming from a US Representative. These words are just the latest in the ever escalating dangerous words of hate coming from the right. Each time these kinds of sentiments are expressed the closer we come to eventual hostile action. Hopefully a sense of civility will be restored in this country before something happens.

First of all our President has never advocated abortion... he is against it, he just doesn't belive in the Government intruding on a private citizens body.

Are you serious? Did you just arrive on the planet recently? During the last administration there was reached a level of disrespect and hatred that has never been seen or even heard of before. There was no disagreement, there was no polite disagreement, there was simply name calling, attacks of the the most personal nature and it was becoming common place to joke and call for Bush's assassination. So bad in fact that people felt comfortable enough that an idiot threw a shoe at a sitting U.S. President and it actually got cheers and laughs instead of outrage. President Obama has been in office for 9 months and you are already calling him "the worst, most incapable, destructive administration in recorded history?" Well you must realize that President Bush's administration stands a fair chance of taking that title once History judges him.

Lets start with the premise that you're right...all of us want to see everyone have access to good and affordable health care. I know I do. I just don't agree with HOW the Congress is proposing to do it. It is too expensive and it WILL result in rationing. There are other things that can be done that will not jeopardize the superior care that a majority of Americans already have and want to keep.
