Until government is taken out of the business of managing the forest there will continue to be disasters like this

Is what both of you are! Unfortunately, while the previous two governors were not to my liking, you both need to realize that without the governors visits to these disasters, the state would not receive Federal funds to pay for any of them. The only other way to pay for them is to raise our taxes, and not have the nations help to do so!!!!
Yes, it would be nice NOT to have politicians involved, but that is the nature of the beast, why not get involved and speak out in Santa Fe and Washington if you don't like the way things are being done?

Whatever it takes to get the funding needed here to help deal with this disaster is what needs to be done. It is crucial that whoever can help to make that happen is an important part of the fix. And in this instance, our needs are great and assistance is absolutely necessary. I agree with you.

Thank the Chamber for that. Instead of being so generous to the art community, AND the Hubbards who, BTW give other communities' agencies thousands annually and those communities are not in this county but WE subsidize them. Why don't we at least get credit for subsidizing him, so that he can look like a generous philanthropist to all of these charities in these other counties?
