Dems taunt GOP: Where's your health care plan?

Even as Republicans pummel President Barack Obama's health care proposals, some GOP leaders worry their party is being hurt by a Democratic counterattack: Where is your plan? Republican leaders chose not to draft their own comprehensive bill, focusing instead on attacking Democrats' plans as too costly and bureaucratic.

The GOP health care is the one that guarantees that health insurance companies continue to make billions of dollars a year. Come on, this is America, who says you should get health care if you can't afford it, right? It's not like they give Big Macs for free. If you loose your job, have a pre.existing condition, or just can't afford insurance, what right due you have to see a doctor if you get sick? The nerve. Got cancer? Just die already. Cancer treatments cut into health insurance profits. Big TIME !

Can you imagine being one of the cold hearted Democrats who gave the State Party the power to absolutely destroy California and drive it into insolvency complaining about Republicans? No wonder our kids don't stand a pray of a chance.

Actually, the Republicans have made their ideas pretty clear. Do those things which would make healthcare more affordable. Increase competition by allowing people to purchase insurance across State lines, thus eliminating the virtual monopolies that exist today in some States. For example, Blue Cross has a virtual monopoly in Alabama, and New Jersey allows the sale of only one type of healthcare plan, the most expensive one. Write some tort reform legislation to eliminate all the frivolous law suits and thus lower the absurd cost of malpractice insurance which needs to be paid by most Doctors and health care facilities. These ideas would be followed if the real purpose was to lower costs so that more people could afford health insurance. Since these ideas are not being pursued by the Democrats, it becomes obvious that there is some other purpose to their overhaul of the entire healthcare system. That other purpose seems to be a government takeover of the entire system.
