Tens of thousands of demonstrators descended on Capitol Hill Saturday, protesting the expansion of government spending and illustrating the network of conservative activists that has emerged in opposition to President Barack Obama's policies.

Are the same people making up the health care bill, counting the people in that group of protesters. Maybe we should ask CNN.

It was wonderful to see.
All the messy, loud, raucous, wonderful voices together.
All walks of life, all political stripes.
It was AMERICA walking, and talking. That was AMERICANS, moved to show up and speak. It was a home grown wonderful wave of AMERICANS SENDING A MESSAGE TO WASHINGTON!
Young and old, all together, making a statement.
They're telling the democrats ENOUGH!
Obama lost even MORE independent support after his speech according to the polls.
The only people he appealed to were the democrats.
As many said, he did nothing to speak to the MAJORITY of the nation, only his democrats.
And THAT was a mistake.
As Brit Hume pointed out, supporters of the bill support other things and don't support others, but those OPPOSED to the bill....and they are MUCH more intense than the supporters.
And THEY will VOTE based on THIS ONE SINGLE ISSUE.
And right now, that is not a MAJORITY of the nation.
Independents favor the GOP by 22 points. Seniors who were split between the 2 parties, NOW are 46% GOP and only 31% dem.
and seniors ALWAYS vote, rain or shine, day or nite, they'll wait for hours to vote.
That should horrify the democrats.
They've lost moderates, they've lost independents, they've lost seniors.
Can't win ELECTIONS, much less hold majorities with that kind of anger out there.

The funny thing is, while the democrats want to dismiss the 70K people on the mall in Washington, there are MILLIONS at home, who feel the same way.
So if 70K people were angry enough to show up, think of all the OTHER people at home, who feel the SAME WAY, but couldn't go.
That is the "tip" of a very dangerous iceberg for the democrats.
While they want to dismiss a small rally of 70K people, they do so at their peril.
As lots of people have warned the democrats, the tea parties weren't an anomoly. The tea parties were an "ominous sign" for the democrats.
Auto bailouts, bank bail outs, 787 billion bogus stimulus plans, cash for clunkers...
And now comes this idiotic HC reform garbage, which not a SINGLE POLL IN AMERICA says is a priority, and then comes CAP N TAX....
They're going to keep angering the nation...
When the NATIOn has said from DAY 1, it's the ECONOMY, stupid.
Just because Obama declares "mission accomplished" on the economy, with 6.9 million jobs lost, he doesn't WANT you to focus on wanting a job now, he wants to tell you IT'S OVER, now focus on MY priority.
Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?
6.9 million jobs lost, you're stuggling to make ends meet, you've lost your job...
Congress got their automatic 4,900 RAISE, FOR WHAT? They've ordered their planes, they ride around in their chauferred limos, ALL ON YOUR DIME, on YOUR BACK...
But do you think these idiots would give you a TAX CUT?
Of course not. They're wallowing in your tax money like fat little pigges gorging their mouths....
And NOW, Obama is going to have to come back to you for MORE with a TAX INCREASE...
To do something NOT A SINGLE POLL IN AMERICA SAYS IS A PRIORITY...
Now, do you understand how STUPID the democrats are?
The anger is real, and it isn't going away if the democrats keep going down this road...
Some think the democrats have "time" to turn it around.
It's too late...the anger is STILL RISING...as the democrats keep blathering that they're going to do it no matter WHAT the country says...
That alone will guarantee their defeat in 2010.

It's a shame Americans had to wait so long for health care reform. If it was not because of those thugs trying to stop the reform, countless American lives could have been saved.

TRUE! I can see strings were pulling behind them.

You must be out of your mind; anger is toxic. Get over it, accept the fact that democrats won the race in 2008 and they are working for the benefits of Americans. There is a good chance that Democrats win again in 2010, 2012 and many years to come. No doubt about that. Get over it!

"The funny thing is, while the democrats want to dismiss the 70K people on the mall in Washington, there are MILLIONS at home, who feel the same way."
Yeah, and millions across the country who think this has NOTHING to do with unity for all, even though it was partially organized by the 912 project. These people were pi$$ing on the 912 concept when ALL Americans came together for the good of the country.

Do you really think that think that any of the "Gov. off." should be getting their jobs back, I don't are anyone of these people doing there job.
Their not going to get a much needed health care reform bill passed, or anything else, this year.
Answer me tis what else have they done but confuse the American people.
