She just hates people who are poor, sick, or not wearing uniforms. She doesn't "think" about it much at all, it would seem.

No, I support the individual buying their own medical insurance. I want each one of us to pay for our own. I don't care if the Daddy has to do yard work, and mommie has to take in laundry to pay for it as long as I am not providing the money for them to breed like rabbits, and recieve free medical. I am tired, as are many other workers, of paying for the lazy, and the shiftless who do nothing for society but try to think of more, and more freebies to ask the Government for. It has been 4 generations, and the same poor people we confronted then are the same people we are providing for today.
And without an individual mandate or a change in law allowing hospitals to turn away people without insurance, just HOW do you plan on accomplishing that?

Unless you plan on FORCING everyone to have insurance, you WILL be paying to subsidize their medical care.

Please answer the question posed to you-

How will you force people to buy health insurance?

Again, she doesn't really care if they do, and wouldn't vote to force them to do so. She just wants them to go away, and doesn't want to believe she's paying for their care in anyway.

She's totally and completely selfish, like so many on the Right.

Apart from being your usual offtopic distraction, I'm still waiting for you to prove there's something called a "medicare slush fund," whatever that's supposed to be. Didn't Drudge explain it for you?:)

Call it President Obama’s Committee for the Re-Election of the President — a political slush fund at the Health and Human Services Department.
Only this isn’t some little fund from shadowy private sources; this is taxpayer money, redirected to help Obama win another term. A massive amount of it, too —$8.3 billion. Yes, that’s billion, with a B.
Here is how it works.
The most oppressive aspects of the ObamaCare law don’t kick in until after the 2012 election, when the president will no longer be answerable to voters. More “flexibility,” he recently explained to the Russians.

GETTY
Postponing the pain: The administration is temporarily restoring funds to Medicare Advantage so seniors don’t lose coverage before the election.
But certain voters would surely notice one highly painful part of the law before then — namely, the way it guts the popular Medicare Advantage program.
For years, 12 million seniors have relied on these policies, a more market-oriented alternative to traditional Medicare, without the aggravating gaps in coverage.
But as part of its hundreds of billions in Medicare cuts, the Obama one-size-fits-all plan slashes reimbursement rates for Medicare Advantage starting next year — herding many seniors back into the government-run program.
Under federal “open-enrollment” guidelines, seniors must pick their Medicare coverage program for next year by the end of this year — which means they should be finding out before Election Day.

What grown up countries are you referring to? All those countries with "government healthcare" whose citizens are buying private healthcare insurance, just like we have here, whenever they can afford it?

And they're doing that because those systems are so great, right?

They never said they were going to do anything about health care except get rid of Obamacare. Once that is done, you will never hear another word about this issue.

I read that. It's partisan crap from a right-wing columnist.

Got anything better than that? CALLING something a "slush fund" doesn't mean it IS.

Amen to THAT. Single-payer is clearly the way to go if you want to cut costs and extend coverage to all. Health care should not be for-profit, anyway.

Many countries have SUPPLEMENTARY healthcare insurance for those who want it. But the point is, everyone is covered to START with. If you want more, or can afford it, that's up to you.

Everyone is not covered, to start with. Do a little research, would you?

People are not buying private health insurance, which isn't cheap, because they can afford it. They're buying it because they want better health care than is provided by their single payer government systems.

So, they'll end up with the same system as the one we have now: The more you can pay, the better the health care you'll recieve.

Quote your research. SHOW me that in nations like Canada, Britain, and France, that "everyone is not covered."

We can start with that, genius.

None of those nations will "end up with the same one we have now." Ours is a DISASTER area right now. Unless you just want the American public and the government to subsidize a greedy, profit-hungry insurance and healthcare industry, which you probably do.

Start with Canada and look it up for yourself. Not everyone is covered...genius.

These nations already have the same as we have now. If you've got supplemental insurance, if you've got wealth, you're going to get better health care and you won't have to wait months for it, either.

And if you think handing control of our healthcare over to the government is going to eliminate fraud and profits for the chosen few, cover everyone and cost less, then you are pathetically naive. Name one thing, one program, that the government butt their noses into that runs more efficiently and doesn't cost three times what it cost before they took it over. Everything they touch turns into a money sucking boondoggle.

Get a clue. I know scads of Canadians, quite a few people who are from France and a very good friend in Sweden...and guess what many Swede's want? Our healthcare system. Why don't you get away from your computer, travel, talk to people who live with those systems? You might learn something.
