Gov. Brownback has this state in a mess already. This Tim Huelskamp (R) must be related to Todd Akin (R) of Missouri. As the saying goes.....'keep it in the family'.

The anti-gay folks need to keep prejudice in the law to make it appear legitimate. They know anti-gay laws perpetuate and promote the destructive irrational prejudice they indulge.

The 1st District of Kansas is probably the safest Republican seat in the House, it has elected only one Democrat in its history and that was 60 years ago and he only lasted one term. Jesus himself would lose out here if there was anything but an R after his name. We're stuck with Timmy until a Senate seat opens up for him, or he gets caught doing something he shouldn't be, whichever comes first.
