I find this absurd. Why take care of this group of people without including the rest of the unemployed people? Severstal made "big money" and benefits for years, what about the little guy who worked for 10 dollars an hour and are laid off? Why are they not included in this handout? When the steel workers are laid off, all you hear is them crying about how they are not being treated fair. What about the little man who has worked for much less. Why does he get the short end.? Our government is taking care of a handfull of people. WHY? Lets incude all the people who are laid off. Dont they deserve it too?

Additionally, a few years back, i was in school with quite a few of the laid of steel workers from a local mill. They all were crying how they were "owed" by the mill. Well, nobody owes nobody anything. They all cried about losing their job, and in the next sentence bragged how they slept 4 hour last nite at work, and how they worked a double and went to the community center and worked out, then went home and ate and rested and returned to the mill and punched out. How nice. And this came from the mouths of more than one worker. Also, they all said they were only in school to keep their benefit money coming in..this is totally absurd. Why waste money? But if we are going to , lets at least include everyone laid off. I am sure they can waste the money just as proficiently as the big paid workers....

Quit crying pal. If yo go to your local one-stop you can get paid retraining too, so maybe you can get a better paying job and stop being upset that others make more money than you.

Taz would be correct. I am currently getting retraining funding from the stimulus funding that was ADVERTISED ON A BILLBOARD!!! I am very thankful for the education I am receiving and hopw those who want it take advantage of it.

And another thing without the crybaby steel workers to spend their overpayed paycheck in your community you wouldn't have your 10 dollar an hour job
