Liu Xiaobo has actively worked with the US intelligence community, and the National Endowment for Democracy in particular since the late 1980s. He also openly advocates colonialism of China by the West and works diligently to achive that goal. He claims that 100 years of colonialism is what made Hong Kong great, and that it would require 300 years of colonialism for China to do the same. If someone living in the US was conspiring with foreign intelligence agencies to destroy the US government, how would we react? Obviously these lawmakers are just upset that their spy has been silenced.
