It speaks volumes that you appear to be envious. As I said, I'm not dragging my employer into the muck of Topix. I'm sure NetJets is thrilled to see their name attached to a character like you as you troll Topix. It may come back to bite you.
I appreciate my job too much to play your game.

Merit and incentive pay causes more resentment than motivation. Profit sharing by formula is the only really fair way to remove personal bias, favoritism and - frankly - poor management.

That being said, SB 5 will be defeated by at least 10% in November despite the outside groups who will be spending millions to support it.

I don't believe the language has been finalized but Husted was considering making a yes vote mean you want the referendum passed to defeat SB5.

That is the opposite of most referendums where a no vote is to defeat the passed bill.

Any final word on the words?

schools are non-profit
so your point about profit sharing is out the window because schools don't generate profit.
They spend.
A realized profit from expenditure can be measured by graduation rate and GPA of the product.
You blamed everyone but yourself.
Merit pay is THE incentive to EARN more income.
That applies to school or business.

Johnny comes lately. I was commenting on GJ's post about his company's merit pay. Not teachers.

Someone told me they heard that Husted committed to making the wording as clear as possible so that people know what they are voting for. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
