"High Speed University" offers all our students the opportunity to be taught by excellent instructors whose location or schedules preclude attendance at local weekly class meetings, check out online for more research

Just like Kasuck apppointing a SMUCKER to the OSU Board of Trustees
he is looking at who will do his bidding and contribute the most to the GOP agenda. Smucker while a smart business man has no ties to OSU or really this area.
Kasuck wants someone who can kiss his Arse and make hime look important. I don't think I would want my name tainted if I were a successful millionare business person by being anywhere near Kasich.

Sadly, we already had an excellent person filling this job who was run out of town by Kasich and Co.

As a former student when Dackin was principal at Reynoldsburg, I can honestly say this man has no business being in education. He does not care for students. He puts his own personal vendettas ahead of academic success. If selected Superintendent of Ohio he will be Kasich's puppet.

Guess the Governor should take a second look and have these comments investigated and report his findings.

Why did the State Board of Education even bother interviewing applicants? The King will appoint the person he wants and can control!

Kasich want to make sure that the person chosen will go along with his plan of turning public education into a for-profit enterprise.

Correct. Fast food universities who advertise that your teacher training doesn't even require you to work with kids is more than a little bit crazy.

Surgeons, try our program! No need to have to actually practice operating!

Dackin will likely get offered the job, but he'd be foolish to accept. It's career suicide for whoever takes this job under Kasich. The next state superintendent will have no real authority, will be micromanaged, and forced to advocate for positions that are directly contrary to the will of Ohioans, simply because Kasich is that type of governor.

Kasich is a one-term governor, and so this basically is a 3.5 year appointment.

Perhaps new school chief knows how to administer the proposed merit pay system. You remember how Kasuck wants to have educators earn their pay based on sucking up to their boss. Or perhaps student success equals more pay. I want one of those jobs where every kid gets an A and I get $120,000 a year. Let the good times roll.

Many teachers already cost the taxpayers over $110,000.00 per 185 day contract already so you are probably not far out of line.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Taurus

Try hard not to let money or possessions come between you and a friend today, unless it's over something that has got to be sorted out before it goes any further. For instance, if someone owes you money and has consistently failed to pay it back, this is a good day for mentioning it to them and finding out what's going on. If necessary, you may have to be quite vehement.
