An honest Dem? What a pleasant surprise. Only if we had a few more like her we could be leading the nation in the economic recovery.

Tell me this. What politician would come out and try to destroy the middle class? Who does that and what benefit do you get? What is your motive when you bring someone from California and pay him one dollar a year to create jobs. Even if it was bad, he's laying it right out there for everyone to see. Jennifer Brunner is willing to stand up and say,"say what you want but this state is broke and we can't keep doing the same thing with politicians too scared to make unpopular decisions." Some of you Democrats think you are voting Kasich out this November with SB5. Since he's accomplished so much, perhaps you think he's been in office for years. That election is actually November of 2014. Enjoy the ride.

Not really concerned about what Brunner thinks at this point. The problem with Kasich is his slash and burn attitude toward people - and his lack of confidence in whether people can actually be part of the solutions that impact them. His "my way or the highway" attitude can only go so far before he catches everyone "under his bus."

Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat? this phony may call herself a Democrat, but only for political reasons to get elected! She is another self-serving phony that does not give a crap about the working folks of this state! I'm just happy that she was not even close to being elected Senator! She must be looking for a kasich appointment!

If you had any Iq at all you would be able to see he is saving Ohio as opposed to Democrats destroying Ohio and our country. Try somethying new like being a good American and not a selfish government dependant. I'm sure glad you are retired.

I came from WV in 2004 to move near my daughter and her husband. I work in Columbus and spend all my money here as well as supporting local small businesses and farmer's markets.

I didn't realize I was considered a foreigner so that is a very hurtful comment. I am ususally on board with Govenor Kasich's plans. I was at the Arena Grand last night and counted the license plates from all the different states. These people spend a lot of money here so please don't shut the borders to the traveler too.

That is the only conclusion I could come to as well. She can't get elected by her own party...politics is her meal ticket...so let's agree with Kasich and hopefully I can get a spot on his staff.

I have lost all respect for Brunner; hopefully she will just go away.

Kasich's comment about African Americans is ridiculous. It's patronizing-we can put them in the field, but I won't appoint any to cabinet level positions.

Jennifer Brunner is a two time loser in democratic politics so she figures she might as well jump ship. Sounds like she is jockeying for a job with Kasich. Good riddance. You can have her GOP. She'll eat those words if she ever runs as a democrat again. And so is John Kasich going to now support quota hiring on the well heads?

She is an as=hole just like kasick. Screw thousands of people. Cause thousands to lose thier jobs. Create min. wage jobs, then take credit for creating jobs that not one person can live on. VERY effective dumbas=. The picture was painted his first week ( TAKE CARE OF MY PEOPLE SCREW THE REST OF YOU). She is right on board (MUST BE WEALTHY).

The defeat of SB 5 will marginalize John Kasich and send him home with his tail between his legs. And that's a good thing. The legislature will begin to keep him at arms length and when the democrats take over, muzzle him once and for all. And this is sad and it didn't have to be this way. You don't lead by beating people over the head with trash legislation like SB 5. You lead by including everyone since everyone is involved. John Kasich over reached and thought he could get away with trash and burn policies because of his arrogant, extremist right wing agenda and demeanor. He was wrong, and the SB 5 defeat will send that message. So yes, we all will have a lame duck governor until 2014 when SB 5 is defeated in November. And that outcome is sad for all Ohioans and John Kasich knows it.

110%? You may want to review the math topic: percentages. If teachers' wages are reduced to the poverty level of minimum wage, I hope they do a better job teaching than the one you received in math. Like it or not, a quality education is very important to the health and prosperity of our nation. That quality job may cost more than many are wanting to currently pay.
