I don't understand why he is paid so much. What is it he does for the state??

I was dreading opening up this story because I was half expecting to see a clown or a garbage man or something like that. I guess it could be much worse, but I agree that I don't understand why he's paid so much and what amazing talents he has that he has to be the highest paid. I know there will always be someone that's the highest paid, but just make sure it's not for something dumb.

Throw him off the gravy train, and let him work in the private sector, We have paid his way too long.

The funny thing about these comments is that the article is totally WRONG! The coaches at Ohio State make far more money and they ARE state employees. How many of you object to useless coaches living a life of luxury while working 15 days out of the year for three or four hours, as does a football coach.(I know you are going to argue against that assertion, but how many of you argue that teachers work six hours a day for nine months out of the year?)
