Secure the border first and then we can figure out what to do with the 20 million criminals that are left behind.

Let the illegals who are arrested for minor crimes build the fence, they all claim to be such great construction workers. Just be sure not to lean on the fence after it's finished!

On Tuesday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the southern border in Arizona is as safe as it ever has been.

"I know that border I think as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been," Napolitano said.

Napolitano argued that border security has stopped many illegals from attempting to cross the border, saying six or seven years ago, the number of illegal apprehensions in the Tucson sector was 600,000 whereas now it's 200,000.

Did anybody tell her it's because the other 400,000 are not being apprehended? Is it still illegal in this country to shoot idiots?

That angered Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., the most vocal supporter of changing immigration law. But Gutierrez said he is confident Congress can pass both pieces of legislation this summer.

"I guess we’re back to square one,: he said. "This is a roller coaster here. But I’m used to it. I take the anti-nausea medicine. I go up and down and the heights and thrills don't give me pain any more," he said.

Wait just a minute luis, didn't you promise to stay home?

"It's as secure now as it ever has been." Which means it it totally NOT secure. Her lowball figure of 200,000 is way too many breaching the border. And, that's just the Tucson area. One evil person sneaking into the country is a disaster waiting to happen. Get that fence built with feet of razor wire on top--plus drones--plus border agents and dogs. Get on it now.

Wonder if Mr. Krentzs' family would agree with her statement?

All right now Georgia, it's a start but we've got to do better, we cannot let Arizona show us up.

Georgia
The Senate has also adopted a resolution calling for President Barack Obama and the U.S. Congress to secure America’s borders and fix the country’s broken immigration system.

Sen. John Wiles, R-Kennesaw, proposed the legislation, which passed by a vote of 34-9. The measure cites “mounting difficulties in dealing with the rampant unemployment of citizens and lawful workers who have waited in line, played by the rules and legally joined the American family” and says Georgia’s security and economy is threatened by illegal immigration.

Wiles says any immigration reform proposed by Congress and enacted should not reward people who have come here illegally or provide amnesty to those who broke the law.
