"The company that makes the product, South Dakota-based Beef Products Inc., announced last week that it would stop production at plants in Iowa, Kansas and Texas amid public outcry"

Kudos Iowa, Kansas and Texas!
Now if other states would chime in.
AND Boycott ammonia tainted beef.
If you love ground beef it's easy and not too pricey to grind your own or ask the store butcher to grind some for you.

did you hear about this?

The Food and Drug Administration has rejected a petition from environmentalists that would have banned the plastic-hardening chemical bisphenol-A from all food and drink packaging, including plastic bottles and canned food.

if they're going to allow that, then they probably don't give a hoot about pink slime.

Unless you are vegetarians, chances are every one of you has eaten ground beef made with "pink slime" without any negative effects whatsoever. It may not be aesthetically appealing, but it's not dangerous. You're much more likely to get sick from E.coli from organic produce.

Actually, "pink slime" is the opposite of Barack Obama. He is both aesthetically appealing and dangerous.

Pink slime is dogfood.

People can eat dogfood, but don't. Same with beef slime. Pet Food.

You are right, Presidenty Obama is both aesthetically appealing and dangerous. Mr. Romney is the same, but far more dangerous.

The remaining GOP campaigners are both unappealing and too dangerous; except for Newt, who is disgusting and very dangerous.
