Sounds extreme but states are getting desperate and don't know where to turn as the federal government refuses to help, the funds dwindle each time a illegal and their offsprings add on to the states already straped cash budget. He really is only looking out for the american people as we loose our sovereignty to mexico and the under classed, why should we give our land to a bunch of savages who do not respect our laws, if america does not fix this problem that same war mexico has within will be our own that's promised!

that war is already getting here or at least their cartels are,my town just busted a few for meth yesterday .

i don't see any problem with ice and border patrol stations at every er in the country. also when ive been to a hospital they even want my ss # along with other info like i.d. with my insurance card. there is no reason for us to even let them in the door of an er unless to patch up and deport.

To me it's a great thing! I have no worries only an illegal or should I say someone who does not want to be detected and held accountable for their actions are the one that yell and cry racism, I feel this man is moving in the right direction to protect and serve, as americans has paid him to do!

Exactly!!!! We should station ICE agents at hospitals. Let them ask if a pateient is a legal US resident. If not they should be able to contact the embassy of the person who is in need of treatment to get approval from that persons goverment. That is no different from an American who has an HMO who is required to get approval to see a specialist. All we have to do is inform the embassy as to what type of treatment is necvessay and if they are willing to pay for it. If they say no them it that person's own nation saying no,not us. We will provide the service they are willing to pay for,if not we will get them well enough to make it home and deport them. If that keeps them from seeking health care then that is the risk they take for breaking our laws. Ignoring our laws should not be rwarded!

I support cracking down on illegals but i wish Congressman King would stop railing against "governmment health care." Because....Mr. King, YOU GET FREE GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE!!! Why don;t you drop your free healthcare and buy it yourself like most of the rest of us have to do!! I know you probably get a great deal of "funding" from Big Insurance, but until you have to struggle with healthcare costs, you have no clue about it!! So, why don't you do us all a favor and shut the F**K up about it!!!!! Moron....

First of all his health care isn't 100% free. If my memory serves me correctly he pays 40% of the premiums. Secondly if not for Steve King, the illegals by now would have taken over OUR country!

Congressmen, for a family plan, pay 356.49 per month, regardless of health condition!! So King, who is already a millionaire, actually pays a pittance compared to a middle class family, with health problems, do! Also, over 50% of all bankruptcies in USA are health bill related!! So, once again, King needs to shut the F**K UP!!!
