... "He has made efforts to reach out to black voters that while met with some skepticism (he once questioned the constitutionality of certain parts of the Civil Rights Act) and cynicism have won him supporters and the acknowledgement that he is, at the very least, trying. "

Rand Paul is an opportunistic fraud. When presented with his own lies and contradictions, he simply disavows them. If he gets the Republican nomination, all his opponent would have to do is run videos of Paul's "before" statements.

There are elements of the "Civil Rights Act" and the Fourteenth Amendment, which are clearly unconstitutional. Thus, Rand Paul has been correct. Any subsequent explanations are spur of the moment considerations and harbor the human failures obvious in any interviewed setting by both Conservatives and Liberals. If the disinformation people on Topix were held to the standard they demand of representatives, Topix would implode.

All in all, constituents judge their representatives on their perceptions of a representative's general honesty and correctness. Rand Paul excels in such perception and adds remarkable charitable Christian outreach to his resume without intending it.

The astounding dishonesty of current Democrat and proponents follows the manipulative cynicism of historical Marxists. Paul's insistence to civil rights and individual responsibility is anathema to the freaks still supporting Obama's obvious oligarchical and tyrannical disrespect for American excellence and its actual history.

Rand has the right sentiment but the wrong label.... All democrats aren't the enemy, just the radical Progressive ones like Obama and his ilk. In fact most are beginning to see the damage his false promises and ideology have wreaked on the Country. Hopefully, after November Obama can semi-retire to the golf course and regular stays at Marth's Vineyard until the end of his term......

So, what other parts of the Constitution are unconstitutional?

That's a slick question, yet the Constitution was not designed as a suicide document and any addition to it destroying any of the original ten Amendments, especially without referencing them as specifically repealed, is unconstitutional and needs repeal.

So, has he taken lessons from the Fraud in Chief or vice versa?

Opportunistic fraud? What place is better off today than when Obama took office? What qualifications did he have for the job?
How has he responded to his lies and contradictions except by simply disavowing them?
Admit it. You really were thinking of Obama when you wrote this.

¨The liberal answer to just about everything is failure.

Gun violence?! Don’t punish criminals – instead, treat law-abiding citizens like criminals and punish them by restricting their freedom.

Problems with crime?! Don’t do anything to actually discourage criminals from recidivism, just coddle them and tell them it’s all society’s fault.

Health care costs?! Let’s nationalize health care (which is what liberals want to do when ObamaCare’s corporatistic public-private “partnership” inevitably fails)– which has worked so poorly in the United Kingdom and Canada that Canadians routinely come to the US for our expensive health care and old British people die on gurneys in their hospitals after going 48 hours without treatment.

Poverty?! Let’s just keep paying people not to work, keeping them right on the razor’s edge of dependency.

Failing schools?! Let’s just keep throwing money at them so they can fail more expensively. On and on and on goes the parade of liberal failures when it comes to trying to intellectually and rationally grapple with public policy issues.¨

Rand Paul is an even bigger nutcase than his looney father, and a lot more phony.

They're not my comments, they're Obama's lies -- and yes, they are ridiculous.

But, I think that Rand Paul is better than any-other Republican-politicians. XD
Because, at least, Rand Paul wants to withdraw American-Forces from foreign-lands.
Rand Paul is the only one who tries to withdraw American-Forces from foreign-lands in Republicans.
(OR. Again, Rand Paul is exploiting military-problems in order to increase the gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. as other Republicans??? I donot know yet.)

Rather, I think that media is twisting the truth in order to get money from Wall-Street and Military-Industry, and in order to instigate polarity between parties.

And, the polarity between parties is a fake in order to get money.
