Now as to Carolyn Maloney. Excellent! Wise decision. She is good in the house, on economic matters. I might not totally agree with her - the woman I most admire is Elizabeth Warren, the Harvard professor - but she is an OK Congresswoman in an important position on the Joint Economic Committee. I do not expect to always agree with many New York types anyway. The last great one was Herbert Lehman, in the l950's. And the one who would have been great - because he was a wonderful, brilliant, great man, and Congressman - was John V. Lindsay - who should have been President, or Secretary of State, or Chief Justice of the U. S. He might even have been able to defeat Nixon in l972, if Democrats had been able to see his merits, and if he had not wasted his talents trying to solve the problems of New York City. He could have been a great Senator, at the very least.

Good, Maloney is a one issue candidate and her issue is GUN CONTROL. More laws will not deter crime and only limit honest people from having a gun.

I think you are mistaken. She concentrates on economic matters. I suspect you may be thinking of another Congresswoman from New York.

Yes my mistake was thinking McCarthy from Long Island.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Capricorn

Self deception will be the main issue today. You may be judging your situation wrongly: don't hold back, say what you think diplomatically and without being hurtful. This should result in a positive mental outlook for you. Competitive sports activity will ease any stress or tension.
