Well I think that's peachy. If this move doesn't explain how the Democrats deal with minorities, what will? So the old white woman will be the leader, the old white man will be second in command and the black guy, as reward for backing down, will be "third" in command in a new, undefined, unnamed position.(I thought the whip was #3) As in the case of the Florida senate election, the Democrats try to coerce the black guy into taking a seat in the back, as when Bill Clinton tried to get the black Democrat candidate to drop out so the the old white ex-Republican would have a better chance of beating the young Latino. Diversity huh?

from Miami: Bill Clinton did not ask Kendrick Meek to step down...Charlie Crist (govenor) asked Meek to step down to give him a better shot at the Senate seat..both lost Rubino Won..thank God. Frankie you need to keep up with current events in Miami (Florida) as even the dead can vote here.

Clinton most certainly did meet with Meek and try to get him to drop out. You appear to be the one that needs to keep up.
