Obamacare, the failed green agenda, the stimulus package, 1.7 trilll CBO for the unaffordable act. Vote for your guy, in Illinois I won't be duped!

This debt issue is due to those Tax Cuts, Wars and that Prescription Plan. The Spending levels are reduced from the Bush levels that the Republicans refused to amend every budget or those request to change in Congress has been filibustered by the Republicans.
To suggest Obama is responsible for this spending is delusional, unless you can tell the board what proposal have the Republicans not filibustered and made it to Obama's desk for signing, then most of that nonsense is a flat out lie.
The only spending request to pass was the stimulus, and that was $240 Billion spent on job growth with the rest dedicated to Tax Cuts. As compared to the two Bush Stimulus spending proposals $200 and $180 Billion plus the expansion in Food Stamps in 2002 and 2007 by Bush in the Farm Bill.
Do you guys think that people have forgotten?

Geithner has no power over Congress. He is nobody. Even Democrats won't vote to raise the debt ceiling in an election year.

They didn't ruin the credit rating the first time. The rating company said it was lowered because of extreme over spending, and they will do it again. You cannot blackmail the Congressmen who want to reduce spending. And you cannot lie to the American people. They can check out every work you lie about.

If we are going to continue spending ourselves into oblivion, why even have a debt ceiling? Tax cheat gheitner is as irrisponsible and inept as everyone else in nobama's court of clowns. I say if the (R) cave again we start systimatically voting ALL OF THEM OUT! There are already "career politicians" that need to go anyhow. I've said it before, and hate it, but we need a pelosi on our side! Someone who isn't afraid to tell people "if you want to know what's in it, we have to pass it first". We can't hope to win, if we play by the rules, they don't, and the officials aren't calling the fouls. Tea Party 2012!

For someone who claims to be soo indoctrinated... I mean educated, you sure are slow. How do you figure the (R) are responsible for nobama's 5$ trillion in additional debt? If anything they are responsible for the downgrade not being more severe than it was. What koolaid drinking douchbags like you can't seem to grasp, is we can't keep spending what we don't have. I reckon when you're as smart as you, reality is of no consequence, right? When you surround yourself with useful idiots of the caliber that still believe nobama is anything other than the abysmal failure he is, it's easy to look like the smartest moron in the room. After all saying you're the smartest liberal, is like saying you're the best burger flipper at a choke & puke. It ain't say'n much. You and mikey checked on rentals for the big move back to shytcago come January? Tea Party 2012!
