It'a about time. Where are all the other businesses who are involved with ACORN? It has been shown to be a corrupt organization in several different respects, so how can companies do business with them?

ACORN still won't stop lying. It's in its DNA. ACORN's activities and lobbying was (and probably still is!) a primary contributor to the "lending and foreclosure crisis". ACORN got paid on every loan it "assisted" in. I would bet that most of those loans have gone bad, because the borrowers were bad credit risks. Many went to illegal aliens. Banks and Republicans did not refuse loans due to "predatory lending". That's stupid. ACORN and other unschooled liberals always accuse big business and Repubs of being all about making money and taking from the little guy. Why would banks and Repubs walk away from profits? The simple truth is mortgages were refused to certain people because they were bad credit risks.

From the article: "The Republicans are trying to intimidate banks that have stepped up to help stop the foreclosure crisis," said ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis. "These same Republicans ignored ACORN's warnings about predatory lending and the foreclosure crisis, then gave Wall Street free rein and are now obstructing efforts to help families."

This isnt the first time a well meaning group, and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt here, is taken over by people who have their own agenda. The fact is ethics classes are a joke. If you have
ethics you dont need to be taught them. You cant teach ethics to an unethical person. Waste of time and money.

BofA and other lenders probably had little choice, as a practical matter. Laws and lawsuits required them to give loans they would have prefered not to make. FNMA and FDMC backed countless bad loans the banks made. If B of A and others hadn't done this and also worked with "good" nonprofits such as ACORN they would have been accused of racism.

Bank of America had best reconsider. Pelosi, Franks will crucify them for taking the only respectable option open to the Bank. Progressives love ACORN, pimps, ho's, and scheisters of all kind. Any organization who devalues America is bound to be revered by the so called Progressive maniacs.

Electing the first Hard Left President was an interesting choice. His election works like "chain migration" giving SEIU, La Raza and ACORN a status that proud American Democrats shudder to witness.
