This was nothing short of a press conference for Shylock Brown.
By the very fact he is doing press releases, press conferences and news appearances show he knows he is toast next election.
Brown is the most liberal fool in the US Senate.
Please Ohio vote this moron out.

Lets throw some more money into the street for all this is going to work. How about if you are a druggie and you come to the program you are sterilized so you can't bring anymore kids into the world. Another "wrap-around" social work myth. Why not give us a "reach around" then we will all feel good.

It's sad when this type of treatment is not the standard and thought of as radical.

I personally know a recent graduate who received her Master's in social work and interned last summer with Amethyst. Amethyst has a policy that no client, employee, volunteer or intern shall smoke or be involved with alcohol and/or drugs. This recent graduate lied on her application as she does smoke and purchases beer for a young man who lives in her apartment complex therefore, advocating alcohol use. She wheels (a wheelchair user) around the neighborhood via alleys about 7:30 AM or just closes herself in his apartment 4 or 5 times a day to smoke because she's told everyone that she quit. She also claimed to be the director of a 12-step program at OSU. So Amethyst does not screen their employees/volunteers/interns very well and it is not fair to those really trying to get back on track.

What a drag it is getting old
"Kids are different today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she's not really ill
There's a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day

"Mother's Little Helper" - Jagger/Richards
