His selection indicates that he may be a tax cheat like so many of Obama's appointees, needs checking. If Brown likes him beware!

Enjoy it will it lasts Rich, because about this time next year, you'll be seriously looking for a new job.
And just think when you run for governor, you can remind Ohioans you worked for the worst president in U.S. history. LOL.

Ohio's loss of a great AG is the Federal government's gain. And what do we have -- DeWine the weenie!

A voted-out, rejected politician. Good thing Obama will take care of him. It would be a great burden and an injustice if he had to get a job on his own like the rest of us.

We need a bulldog in Cordray. This agency has a big job to do, but I think he is up to the task.

Dick Cordray should and will be the next governor of Ohio. He is intelligent, honest and has the best interest of the people at heart.

I really don't understand Tea party members, Evangelicals & Republicans. Why do they think that they are the only ones that are honest, moral and the best qualified to lead Ohio and our Country. Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfield are despicable characters. Taft and his crew of thieves set back Ohio ten years.

We don't have money to pay social security, the military or veterans but we can grow another branch of corrupt government. I think I'm seeing a pattern in this administration.

Congratulations, Rich! You got the nod from 2 Harvard communists, Barack Hussein Obama and Elizabeth Warren.

Hopefully, this appointment will allow you to rub shoulders with the likes of Van Jones, Anita Dunn, Cass Sunstein, Julius Genachowski, Bill Ayers, Andy Stern, Richard Trumka, and all plethora of communists that abound in the Obama administration.

The electorate was smart enough not to elect you last time around, and likely won't consider this appointment to be any feather in your cap in your quest for any future political office (other than Grove City Dog Catcher). Because riding the coat tails of a loser isn't healthy for a political career.

Alright, Leroy: time to put up or shut up. I know and always have believed that Richard Cordray is a honest, dedicated, and very smart public servant. You called him a "crook." Just what evidence do you have to support this slander? Or are you just another empty head reciting right-wing garbage? Let's find out ...

Gee and I thought Buchanan, Harding, Nixon had locks on that honor. I guess the Republico-fascists don't like any intelligent person being president.

We do not need another government agency, the fact is we have too many now. Cut the number of federal employees and lower expenditures.

The only reason Mr. Cordray lost to Dewine is that he was a supporter of Obama. The GOP and conservatives (Two different groups) couldnt stand Dewine but looked at it as a pill they had to swallow in order to get rid of Obama supporters (same thing with Mary Jo Kilroy). The Obama Train had to be stopped. If Mr. Cordray has any political asperations left he would distance himself from Obama and fast. I think he will fall on the Obama sword. Being a part of the Obama administration will be a stain that will not wash out politically. People say that Mr. Cordray is an honest man? that may be true but doesnt help when you surround yourself with those that are not.

Rich is perhaps the most honorable and caring people I have ever known. He truly cares for the people of Ohio and of this great country. We will be lucky to have someone with his character serving us in this important position. Rich has always done what is right without political considerations. Rich could honestly make a lot more money if he went back to practicing law but instead serves the people with honor and distinction. I look forward to seeing him confirmed for this appointment.

Obama hires another Ohio political hack. Cordray will fit in real well with the other "hacks", i. e., Sherrod Brown and Strickland.
