It's the economy, stupid. And that's why Romney, with his experience as a businessman, is very attractive to the average American, who realizes how dire things are with regards to the economy. AMERICA needs Romney in the WH asap.....

"It's too important of an issue for you to sit on the sidelines and do nothing," DeWine said. "The Ohio Republican Party stands committed ... to defend Senate Bill 5 and its reasonable reforms.

I guess this really makes it clear that they don't even care about the Republicans who are being impacted by SB5!

CLEVELAND Ohio Republican Party donors and other attendees at the state GOP's dinner tonight picked former Massachusetts. Gov. Mitt Romney in a straw poll to take on President Barack Obama in 2012.

Now, was this the "regular" Republican Party or the TEA drinkers?

Romney will have Glenn Beck, Gordon Gee, Orin Hatch and other prominent Mormons in his corner, but Christians may want to question him on his belief in the Book of Mormon which, according to his religion, corrects the false teachings and lies in the Christian Bible. Know what you are getting with him.

Yes, so lets put to one side his Mormon belief that Jesus Christ was worshiped in the Americas as the feathered serpent god, Quetzalcoatl...and that he did not die on the cross. If you are a Christian, though, please know what you are getting.

It is sad that people would actually vote for a member of a cult founded by a twice convicted fraudster that believed that god talked to him via a 'magic salamander.' Are americans really that stupid? Obama isn't much better but he is much more qualified than romney and his mormon minions!

The Rs could only scare up 600 members? The Dems had over 1500 at our dinner this year. Either there isn't much enthusiasm in Ohio or the Rs just charge too much for cold chicken.

I love the part where they booed their own fellow Rs because Romney came out on top of their meaningless poll! The Republican party will tear itself to pieces trying to pick a candidate to please everyone - because no such candidate exists.

The GOP competitiveness is palpable because everyone knows whichever candidate on the ballot carries the "-R" behind their name in 2012 wins the White House.

Romney will wipe the floor with little Barry in 2012. Mitt flips OH, IN, MI, PA, VA, NC, NH, NV, and WI. There's no way to get to 270 for the 'community organizer' now.

Romney is the RINO candidate of insiders, such as those who attend these meaningless dinners.

The real issue is whether Mitt Romney can attract enough support from the Republican base to beat Obama.

The serious money says NO !

If the Republicans dont attack the issue of Obama's Birth Certificate; then they might as well kiss the election goodbye. They (the republicans dont have a snowballs chance in hell of beating Obama), why; because you have a bunch of jelly back people in the Republican Party and Tea Party who dont have the balls to take a stand for the truth. The Republicans are saying its ok that Obama is not a citzen when they dont confront it. That is why they are going to lose and we are going to lose this country because they (the republicans dont have the courage to take a stand on what is right and against what is wrong. In a few years you will not recognize america it will be no more.
