A better idea would be for Ohio to eliminate welfare payments and use the money for the battery plant. The people that were on welfare can work in the plant for food money
Excellent idea

Curious as to why this company has a HQ in California, but builds its batteries in China. No quotes from the company's ownership about this issue, nor from Sen. Brown. Methinks until ALL batteries are made in the U.S. that this company deserves no US federal or state or local government funding. And why doesn't Coda just ask the Chinese government for monies to further expand in China?

No need to build a new plant. There is an empty one sitting in Ontario/Mansfield formerly owned by GM that should be more than adequate for this project.

The public collaborates with Japanese and Korean brands and then begs for and hypes for this type of failed plan.

They can live with the result - GM was the # 1 employorer now it's Wal-Mart.

Jump in your Kia Rio, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla and put on the blue vest and wait for the Casinos to open.

other states would guarantee the backing of this loan and get the ball rolling before the Feds get off their $#$#.

Ohio? Ohio sits on it's hands, squabbles about a few million, and then pretends to wonder why Georgia and Tennessee end up snagging it's corporations.

More unqualified workers making low cost LOW quality products. But then I guess that is America. I though America has a problem finding qualified workers for jobs now.

And why are there no qualified workers? Because unions convinced those who barely graduate from HIGH SCHOOL or dropout that they DESERVE $26 an hour......because of their "skills"

But a company has the right not to hire the uneducated worker due to his education level.

There are plenty of jobs here. People illegally immigrate here to get them. The USA uneducated though feel that they are too good to do them and go on welfare instead.
Welfare is one of the main causes of the decline of this country from within our own borders brought to us by the liberal politicians and their supporters
