If this is a profit making project, then why do they need to get money from the taxpayers?

Common Obama, you promise new energy and green industry jobs, but words aren't being backed by action.
Guess this loan will be approved during the next election cycle, it would be a photo opp and reason to visit Ohio.

Will someone please tell me why this Obama administration and Sen.Sherrod Browm have wasted so much of the stimulas money on shovel ready jobs that weren't shovel ready and Obama was on a panel and laughing about it? The only reason Sen. Brown is talking about this Coda deal is to promote himself. Write him about something like, why isn't Obama letting us drill for more oil on our own land or why does Obama want an Anti-Gun person like Travers to head up the BATFE? Ask Sen.Brown to answer these questions and he will give you an LIBERAL answer. Sen. Brown wants another term period.

we need ethanol more than anything else in ohio to benefit the public with gas prices.and than kasic wouldn,t have to give marthon 78 million dollars tax break to stay in ohio after they make billions in profit off the pumps from the citizens of ohio.//////////kasic needs comitted to a hosptial where they keep in sane people for ohio,s sake and the working people of this state//////////////what a decrace for him to turn the crimmals lose to go rob and do there thing all over again/////////////instead of raise taxes on the rich he has to be part of the moffia//////////////

This obviously is not a money making venture, otherwise any bank would have loaned this business the capitol it needed. I'm sure a business plan was formulated and presented to solicit private money but was shot down by every private lender out there. The goverment has no constitutional right to "invest" or interfere with private business. We need to take our government back and make them realize they work for us, the people. This green technology is not cost effective yet, and until it is, we need to demand from our representitives not to regulate any fossil fuels. It's time to rise up and gain control over our country again before these liberals and progressives destroy it.

Hey Vain Jones here again. What we're demanding is that prison labor be used on this project. we demand they get paid $65/hr for felons and $35/hr for misdemeanor offendors. Then we'll riot and strike and demand release with reparations, confiscation of law abiding people's homes and free gas and laws granting us exemptions for driving un-insured. Read more in my jailhouse manifesto, STORM. And oh yeah, "Give them the wealth! Give them the wealth!"

George Bush and the previous Republican majority spent more on the useless Iraq war than all the 130 project request combined 100 fold. It's good to see Obama and Brown pushing this country in the right direction.

and if you're wondering why a California based company is building their plant in Ohio? it's because the plant can't pass the state environmental restrictions in California.

Ohio is the plague. Nobody is moving their business to Ohio. You can daydream all you want, but it will not happen.

It has been written. So it is.

A waste of money. What will you charge the batteries with when Obungle shuts down coal fired power plants to "protect the environment"?

Ohio's democrats, trial lawyers, unions and taxes ran off all of their good jobs. Now they beg after its too late for government money type of jobs.
A better idea would be for Ohio to eliminate welfare payments and use the money for the battery plant. The people that were on welfare can work in the plant for food money
