Obama is a much better choice than any of the members of the Republican comedy show. But I must admit I'd love to see a debate between the President and Michele Bachmann. He'd mop the floor with her. Intellectually, there's no comparison.

Regardless of who the GOP nominates, John Kasich has guaranteed that Ohio will be in the D column. Thanks, John.

Generally speaking, I think that a higher elected official, i.e. President, Governor, needs two terms in order to fully implement their policies for voters to assess whether they work or not; especially when there is a party change.

Am I happy with President Obama, not completely. Am I totally dissatisfied, not completely. I would, at this point in time, be willing to vote for him.

Am I happy with Governor Kasich, NO. Am I totally dissatisfied, YES. There is no way in he11, at this point in time, I would vote for him.

That is why I started my comment with "generally speaking".

Iy's too early to say anything but that there will be an election in November 2012. Follow the money over the next year and see the the difference in the amout each candidate raises - then do a poll. Money talks.

Sure and on the other hand republicans cannot help themselves from screwing up this country every single day for the past 11 years. Face it, you support failed policy and the GOP should go the way of the Whig party.
Stubbornness, and lack of insight are not policy, nor is looking out for the criminals of Wall Street instead of the taxpayers on Main Street...

There sure is a lot more political bitterness than there used to be. The political advetising is largely half true inuendo, and quite negative. Most of the advertising is insulting to the intellect of average informed people.
Right wing radio and Fox has done more damage to the political discourse in America than anything that I recall in my lifetime.
We are a huge nation with a widely diverse population. The intolerance being spewed over the airwaves has only made it worse. C'mon people, We the People means all the People, even the liberals, the non-Christians, the gays, the blacks, the hispanics and everybody else.

You know Obama's doing such a great job with the economy, we just have to give him another four years...

> First time unemployment claims over 400K for the last 15 weeks

> Unemployment in the 9-10% range

> "Stimulus" plans and economic policies that have been abject failures

> Skyrocketing food and energy costs

> the worst business environment in the last 50 years

I would be fiscal suicide to keep this inept clown in office for another four years; the country can do better than this.

The poll is worthless until the GOP decides upon one candidate.

Hasn't he done enough damage already? Unemployment is is worse than when he took office. The debt is 30% higher than when he took office. We're involved in at least 2 more wars than when he took office.

The fact is that you are who you associate yourself with. Look at his best friends; Bill Ayers, Cass Sunstein, Van Jones. These people are 60s radicals who openly advocate the destruction of capitalism and the American economy.

The man is a buffoon who never "led" anything before in his life. We don't even truly know who he is because he hides as much of his past as possible. Time to send him packing.

We must elect Palin so she can deal sternly with nations like Africa.
