<quoted text>Discuss the matter intelligently? Tell me why Obama is welcomed into the New Party in Chicago and it isn't viable subject?
Why is important to table the truth because of partisan ideology? I don't pretend to be non political, but before the 2008 election I was a Reagan Democrat. I researched Obama's associations and memberships, and determined that I did not want any part of this man. It truly escapes me that people can continue to be blinded by his true nature, and the knowledge that his Presidency is a failure and fraud.
We are at a cross-roads in this country, reducing into a nanny-state existence and eventual Grecian demise or restoring the country to the Founders tenets.
All this stuff about Obama's "true nature" is simply horseshit. It's a way for you to dislike him on principle, and not on the merits.

If you are a "Reagan Democrat" (whatever that means) you should LOVE Obama. He has been a left-leaning centrist right down the line. The claims that he's a "Marxist" or that he has done ANYTHING "radical" in his term are complete BS.

By what possible measure is Obama's presidency a "failure and a fraud"?

You say you want intelligent discussion, yet you offer none in return. Merely the fear-mongering regurgitations of the FauxNews crowd.

BTW I am extremely proud of my vote for Obama, and look forward actively to doing so again in November.

The complete lies and fabrications of the conservative punditry can't obscure the truth. Obama has done an admirable job, in very trying times.

not at all. "Neo-McCarthyite" is an accurate characterization of the poster's comments, IMO. You may disagree, but don't dishonestly pretend it's "name-calling."
mccarthyite; Origin Mc·Car·thy·ism

1. the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, especially of pro-Communist activity, in many instances unsupported by proof or based on slight, doubtful, or irrelevant evidence.

2. the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism.

Not really, since you just defined "McCarthyism" and I referred to the poster as a "neo-McCarthyite." That is, someone who was using McCarthyite tactics in a new way or a new time in American history.

An intelligent person would also have recognized that I was accusing the poster, not myself, of making claims of "communist activity or disloyalty based on doubtful or irrelevant evidence," as you quote. Also, of "making unfair allegations in order to restrict dissent or political criticism."

You'll no doubt recall that this is what the poster said:

"Try looking up your dear leaders mentor Saul Alinsky. This guys tenets were taught by Obama in Chicago as an Organizer. Then google his membership in the New Party. It is a Marxist organization that both he and Michelle were members.(see actual New Party paper welcoming him into the fold.
And then tell me why you are not an idiot to still believe this man's lies?"

The poster clearly intentds to link Obama, Alinsky, this "New Party," and Marxism in order to attack them politically. He also refers to him in Communist terms as "Dear Leader." He uses the allegations to try to justify his claim that Obama "lies."

I think that pretty clearly demonstrates that you are wrong and even dishonest.

When Bush left office there were 28 million people on food stamps. Under the Messiah there are 46 million people on food stamps. I would say that makes Obama the food stamp President

Bush's failed wars, prescription drug law and tax breaks for the rich threw our country into a recession, causing people to need food stamps.

No mystery to it. Anybody who is paying attention know Bush caused the recession. All the rest of us have been trying to recover from the damage he did.

Once again, Klein uses projections to 2017 to come with his "analysis".

It's a fantasy comparison.

Check out the New Party paper for yourself. It is not fabricated. He is a member of a Marxist organization, as is Michelle. I hate to state facts repeatedly to Liberals over and over, but I guess it is a necessary function for those in denial.
Since 1980 I voted Democrat as did my extensive family. NO MORE. The Democratic Party has been taken over by the Far Left. We were all Die Democrats prior to the 1980s, but none of us will follow this man's ideology. The Party has lost it way, and reduced into a distortion of truth and honor. This ideology has been tried and failed for decades. Socialism is a failure, evidence of that fact is Greece, Italy, Spain, to name a few. After all the signs of doom these Socialist countries blatantly provide, Obama still is pushing our country towards a Socialist state.
Your inability to see that is quite sad. I hope this election the norm reflects sanity to restore our country to it's former greatness and send Obama packing to wherever he considers home.
