The right wing conspiracy machine is in termoil:

“To all Traffic Managers: The information below applies to your Premiere Radio Networks commercial inventory. More than 350 different advertisers sponsor the programs and services provided to your station on a barter basis. Like advertisers that purchase commercials on your radio station from your sales staff, our sponsors communicate specific rotations, daypart preferences and advertising environments they prefer… They’ve specifically asked that you schedule their commercials in dayparts or programs free of content that you know are deemed to be offensive or controversial (for example, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity). Those are defined as environments likely to stir negative sentiment from a very small percentage of the listening public.”

the same should apply to all entertainers then, maher, SNL crew, conan, maddow, olberman ad nauseum, equal treatment too all then.
Maddow does not call names like that, and Schultz actually publicly apologized to Laura Ingram and went on a week's suspension without pay. In Maher's case, I am not a fan of his, and what he said about Palin was inexcusable. Calling women names like s**t and c**t does nothing to elevate intelligent discourse, regardless of their political affiliation. Nothing, however, is a defense for Limbaugh, who not only called that woman names, but also made a suggestion that she provide taped sex acts.

I guess you missed it recently when Samuel L. Jackson proudly announced he voted for Obama because he's black. I wonder how many others did the same thing. Since when does the color of a person dictate whether or not they're capable of being President? It's scary thinking these very same people will be voting in the next election as well.
Well, I have always known that there are some blacks who voted for Obama just for that reason, but it would be a serious mistake on your part to believe that Samuel Jackson speaks for all blacks. He is one man with his own point of view. Most of us blacks vote for Democrats, and most of those Democrats have been white. So, I'm not sure why you are bringing that up, since there were undoubtedly whites who voted for McCain just because he is white.

Seen the apology by Schultz--he admitted using bad language. And where do you find the kill linbaugh threats at. Its alughable what is on this thread. Just like its laughable that Gingrich claims he can lower the price gasoline, its odd and impossible to do--this country's corporations claim they are in a free market and operate in a capitalist market . Not true as the corporations are recieving welfare. Oil corporations get 4 billion in wlefare per year. Banks get subsidized by bailouts, and so it goes on and on. did you get a bail out. And then Gingrich makes the claim he can lower gas prices, made to get votes. He can not even lower the price of toil paper.

I do believe its Gingrich's patriotic duty to lower the prices of gas He should do it now--its his patriotic duty. But he can not lower the price of gas nor tiolet paper. Even if he was elected president--the guy is in lalalalal land. I thought we had a free market and also a capitalistic society we live in. that is if you have enough money to be a capitalist? GINGRICH is just full of hot air.

No, dear. We're enjoying the spectacle of watching Karma bite Wide Load Limbaugh in his ample posterior. Although I don't condone death threats at all, he should given thought to the toxic words he likes to speak as well as to the fact that freedom of speech comes with consequences for better or worse.
That's a bunch of bull!

Have you folks noticed how close Gingrich looks like Boss Hogg, the character on the Dukes of Hazzard. Maybe they can bring back the program and give old Newt a job as a walk on

Whiny Righties can use the most extreme language possible (see: Breitbart, Limbaugh) but let the Left or Dems return the favor and they run around wringing their hands over the "extremist language" and "incivility" of it all.

Whining, hypocrisy, personal attacks....ALL specialities of the far right. How could anyone ever respect these losers? I ask you.

Really? I guess you've been living in a cave if you don't know about all the incendiary remarks Limbaugh has made over the years about racial minorities, women, immigrants, and gays. But this time, he crossed the line by not only blatantly lying about Ms. Fluke but also his prurient suggestion that she show tapes of sex acts. No matter what you want to believe, responsibility for one's words goes hand-in-hand with "free speech." He's a 61-year-old man who should have known better.

They walk around with made in China American flag pins, thump the bible or invoke the name of Gawd and believe it's some sort of force field to fend off rebuttals. Ain't workin' cons.

Many businesses don't want to be patrozined by the rightists. They'll survive without you.

As the occupation continues, Limbaugh takes off on Monday amid the advertising crisis:

Think Progress gets its hands on an internal memo from Premiere Radio Networks that lists nearly 100 national companies that have asked that their advertisements not be played on the Rush Limbaugh show — companies that have not been publicly named until now. Think Progress claims that brings the total of sponsors who have pulled out in the wake of the “slut” controversy to 141 — far more than previously thought.

UPDATE: Ultra Violet, a group that organizes around issues important to women and has launched a campaign to pressure advertisers to drop Limbaugh, is up with a new ad on D.C. cable pressing the issue on Mitt Romney.

The same reason liberals try to say Rush is the voice of the Republican party. He does not speak for all Republicans.

It would be nice if people could have a discussion about the issues without bringing political party into them. The issues are there regardless of the party involved.

WRONG! THe whining, hypocrisy, and personal attacks are on both side, and the sooner people accept responsibility and stop finger-pointing, the sooner we can do some positive for our country.
