The govt cannot run a hot dog stand with success...they only appoint people who are qualified based on their skin color, or handicap, or minority/quota status, with no regard to whether they can do a job. Affirmative action only breeds failure.

The airlines are the only one's who can put a stop to TSA. The airlines used to pay for the security they deemed necessary but now they get free security from the government BUT they are losing business. So not sure which security model is best suits them financially.

I fly from Philly and they actually have muslim TSA inspectors. I try to get in their lines whenever I can because they don't give a damn what's in my luggage. Most of TSA at philly airport are affirmative action hires and theft is rampant!

LOL I bet some people wish we had another 9-11. Sorry, but I feel much safer today and think Congress should work on social issues like banning abortion, gay marriage, and contraception. Right now the TSA is the least of our concerns.

Good for you. If you don't like security, don't fly. It's that simple. Better yet fly with a private jet.

Exercising your ignorance and prejudice again I see. The TSA was created as part of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act and signed into law by President George W. Bush on November 19, 2001....

The TSA is a constant reminder that Government does not know how to deliver services efficiently. Agencies like the TSA are rife with incompetence and outright theft. There is no accountability for getting the job done, no qualms about making the intended service recipients go through unnecessarily inefficent processes, and no consequences for doing a bad job or even not working at all!

The TSA is a model for Government run health care.

If the goal of the TSA is to prevent another 9-11, it's working fine. So you might not want to repeal national RMONEYCARE so quickly. I don't know why Bishop Rmoney isn't more proud of his accomplishments as governor of Massachusetts.

LMAO! Funny Post. I fly every week from MCO.

The TSA should be dismantled in favor of air carrier funded security. Tax Payers should Not be paying for this. This should be funded 100% by the ticket purchasers.

1) The TSA has NEVER CAUGHT A SINGLE TERRORIST but they steal from your luggage all the time.

2) The TSA would NOT have prevented 9-11.

3) President Romney will REPEAL OBAMACARE!!!!-_- Yes!!!!

4) TSA installing Cancer Causing Security Screening Machines was a really Stupid response.

So you favor funding "security theater"? Billions of dollars have been spent on making you feel better about flying. What did the private screeners pre-9/11 do wrong? Nothing. The terrorists of that horrible day didn't sneak anything prohibited on board. They took advantage of passengers not willing to stand up for their lives. Today, no would sit and do nothing.

TSA was created to provide jobs for the half witted. They do not catch terrorists, if anything their incompetence has made it easier for terrorist to float right through the lines. It shows the Government how easily controled we have become in this country. We even let them humiliate our children. Go to an Isreaali airport. They don't play silly games with supposed terrorists. The TSA Agents are more terrorizing then the real terrorists.
