"Recent polls show that most Americans—including a majority of Republican voters—approve of a path to citizenship for undocumented workers."

BS!

Illegal Immigration upsets the balance of Legal Immigration. Would we have really let 6.3 Million Mexicans enter our country legally over the past 27 years? The answer is no and therein lies the problem.

Yet we continue to allow in over 900,000 Legal Immigrants a year which upsets the control of our population which currently stands at 315 Million people.

You factor in the "Chain Migration" act and our population will almost double by 2050 or sooner. The end result would be the United States will become just another third world country

No real American would ever support this garbage. Obama would love nothing more than to turn America into a third world country. These so called polls are nothing more than a desperate attempt by the morons who support criminals(illegals)to revive this dead issue. The real Americans want it to stay dead. Secure the border, enforce existing laws and No amnesty!!

The real victims here are the US citizens that are being deprived of what is theirs because it's being given away to illegal aliens. From jobs to instate tuitions to drivers licenses to the increased taxes paid by citizens to pay for the many government services provided to illegal aliens, the citizens are the ones getting screwed here. The real "dreamers" here are the lawmakers who pretend they're doing their job by supporting lawbreakers.

You can go online and check who is for this amnesty for illegal aliens, and who isn't. Next November vote out the people who want to fill the country with illegal aliens who could be ill or criminal. We have immigration laws for a reason. Why can't they honor our laws.

If they want immigration reform why not target the Democrats who have prevented immigration reform for years by demanding amnesty rather than reform? As long as they insist on rewarding criminal as part of "reform" honest immigrants will suffer for the crimes of others.
I have a friend who is a naturalized citizen an he had to wait over 1 year for his wife, a software engineer, to be able to immigrate Jose Vargas who is an illegal alien that has been here illegally for decades, admits using false documents, obtaining legal documentation though fraud, falsifying tax returns and a laundry list of other crimes is being hailed as a hero by our president and is making money writing, speaking and generally bragging about his crimes.

The Democrats are not going to call it Amnesty, any more then they will tell the truth about their Pathway to Citizenship. It is Amnesty. Do you really think these sleezy border jumpers will wait 10 years to vote? Pay a fine? Learn English? No they will vote in the 2014 election, never pay a fine, or learn the English language. Democrats lie, have you not learned that from Obama, and his 40 thieves?

Seems like you are the one who does not understand the meaning of the word amnesty.

Amnesty is defined as: "A pardon extended by the government to a group or class of persons, usually for a political offense; the act of a sovereign power officially forgiving certain classes of persons who are subject to trial but have not yet been convicted"
That is EXACTLY what illegal alien supporters are demanding. A pardon for all illegal aliens (a group or class of people)forgiving that class or group (illegal aliens) who are subject to trial but not yet convicted.
Tell me that "comprehensive immigration reform" as proposed will not legalize people who are here illegally and currently subject to trial, if the laws were actually enforced that is.

You can't just vote out Democrats that are for Amnesty, some Republicans are for Amnesty as well, and they have to be voted out also. This is not a game, or funny. Allowing 15 million people into the country illegally is a travesty

As much as I liked Congressman Kinzinger he is pro Amnesty, and he knows the Affordable Identity Theft Act pays for Abortion, and has done nothing to change it. It also pays prostitutes for sexually transmitted diseases. And maternity care for old men. It is a disaster.

Yes. A pardon. Not a 13 year waiting period and thousands of dollars in fines. That is much different.
