Alex Jones brought up a good point on his December 17, 2012 show that most people won't talk about. Listen to the first hour of the podcasted show.
Why are hard leftists like Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schummer, and Michael Bloomberg -part of the Israeli lobby in America- trying to disarm America.
They are the loudest voices going after the second ammendmant right now in America but openly lobby for US taxpayers to arm Israelis so they can defend themselves. And yes, Israel has a right to defend itself but so do Americans.
The Connetecuit shootings were a horrific tragedy but going after the second ammendmant is not the answer.
These mass shootings always happen where there are strict gun control laws and the public is disarmed -remember criminals will always find access to guns whether they are outlawed or not and innocent civilians are usually the victims of mass shootings.
The answer to these mass shootings is to train and arm responsable US civilians including trusted school faculty on how to defend students from any crazies that show up until cops arrive. We need less guns in the hands of criminals and more guns in the hands of innocent law abiding citizens who are trained how to responsibly own and use firearms.
Isnt't it wierd how after the election all of a sudden all these shootings take place and now gun control is at the top of the headlines. You have the NFL (Bob Costas), news media figures, and national politicians now engaging in a full court press for gun control.
Look how the corporate media is promoting that guns be taken away so Americans citizens can't defend themselves from all forms of criminals.
The media is being absolutely transparent in its attempt to brainwash Americans into believeing that we don't have the right to defend ourselves with the second ammendmant. This should alarm all American citizens given the fact our government has been seized by Communist revolutionaries backed with offshore corporate fascist money.
These bought out political revolutionaries within our illegitimiate federal government are now aggitating the rest of the world and garnering hatred against America from countries like Russia, China, South America, and the Middle East.
The type of facism that is now being pushed in America was used in Stalanist Russia, Cuba, Nazi Germany, Fascist Argentina, Corrupt Mexico, to name a few examples. It's the same gameplan now being used on America.
And every time a country was destroyed and remade into a failed state/dictatorship it started by disarming the general public so people could get bullied by the tyrants into further authoritarianism with no way to fight back.
Now is not the time to disarm America. Pull your money out of the major banks so they can't create derivatives with it and put it in local credit unions or small banks. Call out/ vote out politicians that want to disarm America and boycott the corporate media by turning to non corporate news.
If these politicians want gun control why don't they get rid of their personal entourage of taxpayer paid for armed security/bodygaurds. They want gun control for citizens, not themselves.
Americans can put a stop to this tyrany as most people are now waking up from their trances because the tyranny is so in your face.
The New World Order lackeys must be nuts to think this gameplan will work in America for very long being this blatant. Americans of all political persuasion will never disarm -we are not stupid. Liberal or conserative we just love our freedom too damn much.

PA has some of the most stringent gun laws in this country. We also have the Castle doctrine. It's a wonderful balance of keeping weapons out of the hands of mentally imbalanced individuals and criminals as well as allowing the populace the right to defend themselves.

Lol, are you still around? The election is over -congratulations your guy won- but this isn't about Obama. It's bigger than him. Listen to that Alex Jones show before you blindly criticize it just because you think he's anti Obama.
You are so childlike I'm not even going to pick on you anymore until you can tell me what exactly what Alex Joes is saying that makes you think he's a "crackpot." Don't just make someting up either.

Pelosi, however, voiced a more bullish outlook on the current willingness of Congress to take up gun rules.
"Right away -- today, this week -- we could pass the ban on assault magazines," she told NBC's Andrea Mitchell. "In the larger sense, let's go down the path of banning the assault weapon. I think that has a better chance to do that now than ever."
The pig Pelosi has been waiting for a tragedy like Sandy Hook to bellow her desires to step on the 2nd amendment. What a bag!

Can anybody provide EVIDENCE, from a credible source, that an armed civilian HAS EVER stopped or even had any effect on a mass shooting?

When mass killers meet armed resistance.
It took place at a university in Virginia. A student with a grudge, an immigrant, pulled a gun and went on a shooting spree. It wasn’t Virginia Tech at all. It was the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, not far away. You can easily drive from the one school to the other, just take a trip down Route 460 through Tazewell.
It was January 16, 2002 when Peter Odighizuwa came to campus. He had been suspended due to failing grades. Odighizuwa was angry and waving a gun calling on students to “come get me”. The students, seeing the gun, ran. A shooting spree started almost immediately. In seconds Odighizuwa had killed the school dean, a professor and one student. Three other students were shot as well, one in the chest, one in the stomach and one in the throat.
Many students heard the shots. Two who did were Mikael Gross and Tracy Bridges. Mikael was outside the school having just returned to campus from lunch when he heard the shots. Tracy was inside attending class. Both immediately ran to their cars. Each had a handgun locked in the vehicle.
Bridges pulled a .357 Magnum pistol and he later said he was prepared to shoot to kill if necessary. He and Gross both approached Odighizuwa at the same time from different directions. Both were pointing their weapons at him. Bridges yelled for Odighizuwa to drop his weapon. When the shooter realized they had the drop on him he threw his weapon down. A third student, unarmed, Ted Besen, approached the killer and was physically attacked. THIS DID INDEED HAPPEN.

Can you provide a link to a credible source?
I still haven't seen ANY EVIDENCE whatsoever that an armed civilian stopped a mass shooting. Wishful thinking or word of mouth among gun clubs is not evidence.

What credible source are you expecting, CBS, NBC or perhaps the liberal run white house propaganda machine? The stories of individuals protecting themselves, there children and even neighbors and gas station attendants don't get front page headlines. It's the very reason that the NRA exists. The liberals in this country want guns removed. Positive headlines don't go along with that agenda.

A credible source would be, for example, the Associated Press, which does not work for anybody, but which is paid only to provide news.
An OFFICIAL government report.
"What is a credible source?"
(1. Official, unedited, authorized government reports received from independent sources are credible, if the whole document is studied.
2. The Associated Press is credible (they don’t have a single boss).
3. Dictionaries and encyclopedias approved for schools are credible.
4. Fact-checking web sites are credible and make checking out rumors much easier than it otherwise would be. Among the best are the Pulitzer-Prize- winning site Politifact.com and FactCheck.Org .
HOW TO KNOW WHAT IS NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION?
1. If they have something they want to SELL, whether it’s a T-shirt or their version of a religious book, they are not credible.
2. If they ask listeners to take an action based on what the source of the “information” tells them to do, they are not credible.
3. If they ask listeners to send them some of their money, for any reason, they are not credible
Follow the money get to the truth. Who profits? The minute they try to get in our pockets, it is for their purposes, not for ours. That includes asking for “dues, donations, contributions.”
NO web site created for or by any political party or special interest group or “movement” can ever be credible. They are, by definition, trying to get you to vote their way, that is, to do their work for them. They have no incentive for telling you the whole story, or for telling both sides to a story, as a reputable source will do.
NO association that merely claims to operate for a religious cause can be counted on to be credible.

That is because, mass shooters chose places for their crimes, that are guaranteed to be gun free-schools,churcs,etc. Just like shooing fish in a barrel.
If that same crimal would choose a military base, where large number of idividuals are indeed armed, and could return fire instantly, there would be a different outcome.

Armed Citizen in TX Stops Shooting Spree and Saves Cop by Making 150+ Yard Shot With a Pistol
Fatally shooting your neighbors over an issue of dog doo might seem absurdly over-the-top to normal people like you and us, but it might have appeared perfectly sensible to Conner. Conner’s family explained that he had “mental problems.” Police later found a notebook in Conner’s trailer with nearly incomprehensible “ramblings.”

The rights to life and to keep and bear arms are inseparable
One would think that tragedies like this and in other gun-free zones like the City of Aurora, Colorado, Ft. Hood or Columbine High School would have taught Americans a very clear lesson. Do not put the lives of our children and their teachers into the hands of homicidal maniacs.
