Now I was a damn Republican and I voted for "W" but what the hell is going on? Not two weeks ago when the Democrats are raising the flag on economic problems "W" and his band of brothers said the economy is in great shape. Now the economic outlook is "Troubling"? I'm tired of all the double talk from both sides. I am through as a Republican and I will vote independent. At least I'll have the pleasure of a new brand of idiots lie to me for a while!

Bush said. "There are serious signs that the economy is weakening and that we got to do something about it. Today we got such a sign when after 52 consecutive months of job creation, we lost 17,000 jobs."

First of all, what goes up is bound to come down at some point. Like the stock market. And I'd still like to know exactly what type of jobs were "created." If they were all minimum-wage McJobs, well, I don't see how that does anyone any good. Anyone have an online breakdown of what kind of jobs were "created"??

Second, it's amazing how last week he said the economy was chugging along with no problems. He must have taken a big hit to his personal portfolio this week or something--amazing what happens when a sagging economy finally hits you at home!!

Since the agencies without appointees haven't yet collapsed, I think the federal employees at those agencies have been doing a typically capable job of keeping those agencies running smoothly. I'm certain the agencies could also do without the nominees, given that they agreed to participate with an administration proven to be incompetent in all manners of good governance.
Keep 'em George. We'll wait for a year and get good ones.

By the way Dumocrats the article was about nooses and lynching. Anything to knock Bush.

Just remember until this last month we had tremendous job growth and the unemployment rate is still 4.9 percent. I am beginning to think that the Dumbocrats and their buddies in the media are trying to scare us in to a recession. By the way anyone that starts out by says "I was a Republican," is suspect in my book.

Leave it to Bush to wait months before weighing in on a subject that should have been addressed months ago.

You're doing a heck of a job, Bush - I just wish we could figure out just what job you're doing.

It is very sad that this is happening in USA. I hope God may help us to heal and be the great nation all of us want.

I think Dumbya doesn't care about Blacks. He probably wants to squelch reminders of nooses in Abu Ghraib photos during his genocide of Iraqi civilians.

This country still has such a long way to go. How can we expect respect from the world community when we still act like such children. We are well over 200 years into this country and we still can't get along with each other at home much less the world. And as far as blaming the republicans for all this country's woes, Democrats had to vote on alot of these bone-headed policys too. I don't stand for either party because they are both self serving and totaly out of control. And as far as the upcoming election, I think the lyric from that WHO song says it best. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" God help us all.
