This was a very enjoyable event. The audience did get a little vocal but in contrast to other events in the recent past it was civil. I do not especially like this format but I believe it was one that was agreed to because the weakness of one of the participants when they are engaged in an actual debate format. One thing I thought was interesting was the references that Representative Carnahan kept making to St. Louis and the abilities of it's workers and the St. Louis companies. As a Jeffco resident I see his campaign signs with the Arch on them and wonder if he is concentrated on carrying the vote in South St. Louis City and perhaps South St. Louis County and really isn't worried if he carries St. Genevieve and Jefferson Counties.

Also please note Ed Martin's web site is

I was there last night. After watching Russ, the Village Idiot, I cannot imagine how he ever got elected the first time. He came across like he was in a drunken stupor or not playing with a full deck. I hope Ed Martin wins. He will restore dignity and conservatism to a district now controlled by a very liberal rubber stamp of Pelosi and the socialist agenda of the Osama administration. It's time to send the hick back to Rolla.

Proud to be with Labor 2010 and all the supporters of Congressman Russ Carnahan. Was disappointed with the League of Women Voters for the personal attacks that were lodged by Ed Martin against Carnahan's family and his lack of knowledge as to the procedure to acquire federal funds for weaning off Oil that was warned as far back as President Jimmy Carter's Presidency. It was open to the entire state and I saw no Republicans vying for the opportunity to renew energy in our great state. I suggest MovetoAmend.Org be used as a resource to see what the Supreme Court ruled in Jan. that affects contributions to campaigns and candidates. Check History to see the founding fathers had very few corporations and to give them equality as an individual should never be allowed. We the People see what Corporations have done to outsource our country and break wall street while the people are underserved.

It was refreshing to hear a lone voice of reason and sanity offering constitutional solutions to the questions from the Constitution Party candidate, Nick Ivanonich, while the other candidates traded insults and offered the same old worn out rhetoric,

Amazing that Ed got so offended by Congressman Carnahan mentioning his wife's stock options in Big Oil, considering that Ed was all-too-happy to attack Carnahan's wife and deceased father earlier in the year:

Ole Russell could have used Obummer's teleprompter, he had to read everything, when he could keep his eyes open that is. Time to replace him. I have checked Martin out and his record isn't the best and not what want in office either, check him out folks before you decide. Ivanovich seems on the up and up, check out the Constituion Party also before you make a decision. We have to change this or we lose our Country, no ifs, ands nor buts.

As a 'most failed' state with no leadership, I believe loss of population takes away a seat in either the house or the Senate?

The news people call this a population shift? NO, it is not a population shift it is a population loss.
