In my opinion people would be better off using cash for purchases like groceries, fuel, entertainment. Using cash forces me to say "Can I really afford this, or Do I really need this? Also, I still like using checks for larger purchases and bill paying (or online bill paying). But when using checks, some younger cashiers have looked at me like "What's this?" Just my thoughts.
