Representative Government has not existed for some time. What is being seen on the podium of citizens free speech may not appeal to academic intellectuals, but is the very platform of We the People.

Representatives do not present open discussion at these meetings to HEAR the citizen, but have a caned sermon for all responses. The elected are to LISTEN to the people, not preach to them right and wrong.

If a citizen says "shut up, sit down and listen to my words", then they do that. Two choices, shut up and sit down, or QUIT. All elected persons work for the people. The President works for the people, and it is insubordinate to tell them to shut up and sit down, let alone the precident of 'thought police' and the First Amendment.
