I can't answer his questions but the thing zaps me and probably you in several ways
It ads a tax charging an annual fee on health insurance providers, enough to raise $60 billion, I have to pay this tax my insurance will just pass it on in the way of higher rates.
Impose a 40% excise tax on health insurance policies which cost more than $10,200/$27,500 per year. I don't have a Cadillac plan and I don't get Cadillac benefits but the qualifying amount does not change with inflation, my plan cost $ 9700 a year, according to
the estimated my rates will go up 5.7% a year and after a couple of years of that my plan will be considered one and I will have to pay the tax. This is going to happen to a lot of people too.
Impose an annual fee on manufacturers and importers of branded drugs. One of the drugs I take is branded and my doctor does not want to change it but Obama is going to make me cause I wont be able to afford his new tax.
Impose a 2.3% excise tax on manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices. Just who do you think they will pass that cost onto.
Raise the 7.5% Adjusted Gross Income floor on medical expenses deduction to 10%. If I get so sick I spend more than 7.5% of income on medical care too bad for me they are upping that requirement to 10%. I had to use that tax break 2 years in a row (cancer) why would obama want to take that away from me, I hope I never need it again.
Limit annual contributions to flexible spending arrangements in cafeteria plans to $2,500. I did that one time, I maxed out the cafeteria plan at the old 5,000 because I knew I had some expensive dental work. Why does Obama want to take that away from me. I am not Obama Rich.
Obama promised he wold not raise taxes on people under 250K, He lied he lied he lied. We are all going to pay.
When I think of how much he is spending I think would be cheaper to just leave people alone and just buy the poor insurance.
I disagree.

if the mandate was to expand medicaid to include everyone; that would be socialization.
but that's not what it is.
it's a mandate for everyone to purchase coverage from a private "for-profit" corporation.
.
which means it's not a step toward socialism.
That's just plain foolish to believe that it's not a step towards socialism and that there will be profit involved in a forced tax based funded instrument. You are just being silly.

as long as a profit is seen, then it's not truly socialism.

so you don't like it that EVERYONE has to pay, at least something, for their coverage?
That's the problem! EVERYONE IS NOT, going to be paying "at least something" for their coverage!!!

The only ones that will be PAYING, are the same ones that are PAYING NOW!!

That is not going to happen so just get used to the idea, I used to hold hope that fiscal conservatism would win out but I can't see that happening, we are fighting for the independents and more of the women's vote to do that but as long as the TurboChristians hijack the tea party types you can forget the Republicanism doing anything. A good example was Rand Paul's blocking a senate vote on Disaster funding until the senate has a vote on his personhood bill in his efforts to ban abortions. That sort of thing turns people off .
What is Harry Reid doing blocking 28 jobs and economic development bill PASSED by the house.

All current members of congress should be replaced for failure. Only two occupations you can receive rewards for being a failure is being in Congress or being a Corporate Executive.

How about we take your pay check and dole out to you what we think you need. As long as we give you a little bit of our profit it is not communism.
