Rep. Roy Blunt of Missouri, the No. 2 House Republican, said Triet told lawmakers that Vietnam "had lots of human rights, but the dissidents were somehow endangering the security of the country. We pressed hard for more information about exactly what that means."

"The Vietnamese laws could not be 100 percent the same as the United States laws, due to the different historical backgrounds and conditions," Triet said through an interpreter.
Translation: VNamese DO NOT have human rights.

Triet's "Evasion" act was one of the best I've seen so far by a commie.

The mouth is NOT the only communicator in the human body. But for the VC, they think the people of VN are not human.

You mean they are very happy to see the relationship between US & VN going so well. I think so, too.
3 million dead Vietnamese also roll over in their graves.

Yes, that's true. Those dissidents were caught in Hanoi receiving money from the anti-VN groups in California. If Vietanmese didn't stop them, next thing they might do like 9/11, that means someday they will hi-jack Vietnamese Airliner and they will try to blow up a couple 40-story buidings in Hanoi.
President Triet is absolutely telling the truth

Me no thinks that hundreds of thousands of Americans died in the Vietnam war.

Around 57 thousand americans died in Vietnam.
However, I think what you wanted to convey here is that the Bush govt should not have invited the Vietnamese president to the Whitehouse because the dead American soldiers would have been very angry had they known this. But they are dead. Dead people don't speak. So ....Why don't you go to the white house and stage a demonstration ....

Amen

How sad. Communist "slaves-owner", Triet shaked hand with US corporations.

I guess, if you can't be a slaves-owner, let somebody else do it for you.

We did, and so well that Triet and his clique has to get in the White House thru the dog trap (in anerica, we have little entrance in the back of the house for our dog and without the pomp and circumstances reserved for state guests. Can you believe it? not even a modest tea party. The Vietnamese American community leaders got much more than that.

Another fallacy from a very ignorant and uneducated person.

American welcome their guests and allies well if they inspire or deserve our respect. We usually keep our ennemies outside our borders. We sometimes agree to meet people who beg for it because we do not want to embarrass them with a rejection, but we will not bother to roll out the red carpet or the main entrance gate for that respect.
By the way Nobody is a big threat to us. And who the hell is Hu chan Tao? Could not google him.

Heo Ho! Heo Ho! Hell Ho! Ho Cho' Manh...
You guys know what?
VCs deserve a Nobel Prize in lying...
Since no other Commies can lie SO LONG (7 decades), SO BAD (killer VCs assume to be peace lovers), SO OUTRAGEOUS (vn progressed fast during Commie reign..yet people are one of the poorest in the world), SO SHAMELESS(they let Koreans, Taiwanese..to come in marry poor young but beautiful girls and force other women/men work for 30 bucks a month). Period.

Even if you a commies @ss licker, just go outside of Ho Cho Manh City and your ears are imploded with VCs lies from the public speakers! That is Commie paradise!
