Only running I want to see Carnahan in is the running of her shorts after the election and she shats herself when she loses.

Are there not any good people left in Missouri then these 2 for office? both are a joke! i will vote to even the balance of power, but both candidates and their political parties do nothing to aspire to make life better for Missourians only themselves!

i have no faith in (R) or (D)they have destroyed this country to the point, that it may not recover from...

if there was ever a time for a leadership reappearance of a Washington, Jefferson, Adams or Lincoln in a person today... that time is now!

It is indeed a sad testament to our political system that Candidates run based on their family names. That goes for Blunt as well as Carnahan in Mo.
Madigan is another name that comes to mind. When Mel Carnahan died in the plane crash, Mo. "Gave" the Governorship to his wife? On what basis did she deserve that? Because she slept with him? Thats all you need to be governor? Very Sad.

Everything that I wanted to say has already been said by these fine folks. Except that the ads that these two people have running tells me that they are dirty corrupt snakes in the grass.

Carnahan doesn't stand a chance. Thank goodness! I think Mr. Carville is indulging in wishful thinking when he uses the word "tight" in reference to this race ... I expect a landslide for Mr. Blunt. As for Carnahan's campaign ... YIKES, it was horrible.

typical politics. the senate and house are run by a few well connected thieves. When are going to see some integrity in the system? now that's an oxymoron. never happen. We have to go with the voting power of the party. I'd like to see a strong 3rd party candidate but in the past that has only paved a way for the undesired opponent to gain office. i am all for change and hope this time.

Re: Bird. As long as you are voting for a Democrat or a Republican "to even the balance of power", you are part of the problem. The two party system is destroying this country. It is every American's civic duty to vote for a third-party candidate. As for replacing Kit Bond,
Daffy Duck would do a better job.

I hope and pray every Missourian understands that a vote for Carnahan is a vote to continue the same destructive actions that have been tearing down our country ever since Obama, Pelosi and Reid took control. I'm not saying Blunt is the best candidate to hit the polls since the beginning of time, but he is the lesser of two evils. We already have Russ Carnahan gumming up the process in congress, we absolutely can't afford another Carnahan in there.

I don't like either one of them. It is a shame that Missouri couldn't have come up with better canidates for either party. I will vote Republican this time as real CHANGE hasn't happened in my opinion.

This article is typical of the elitism of journalists.

It is not "Kit Bonds" seat. It belongs to the citizens of Missouri.

We the People will decide whom we allow to sit in it for us.

I'm with most here who say neither of these is a good choice. I am voting Libertarian. No way can they can be as bad as these two.
