It is indeed a sad testament to our political system that Candidates run based on their family names. That goes for Blunt as well as Carnahan in Mo.
Madigan is another name that comes to mind. When Mel Carnahan died in the plane crash, Mo. "Gave" the Governorship to his wife? On what basis did she deserve that? Because she slept with him? Thats all you need to be governor? Very Sad.

typical politics. the senate and house are run by a few well connected thieves. When are going to see some integrity in the system? now that's an oxymoron. never happen. We have to go with the voting power of the party. I hope and pray every Missourian understands that a vote for Carnahan is a vote to continue the same destructive actions that have been tearing down our country ever since Obama, Pelosi and Reid took control. I'm not saying Blunt is the best candidate to hit the polls since the beginning of time, but he is the lesser of two evils. We already have Russ Carnahan gumming up the process in congress, we absolutely can't afford another Carnahan in there.

I'm with most here who say neither of these is a good choice. I am voting Libertarian. No way can they can be as bad as these two.
