No nutritional value? Seriously? OMG how can anyone BE so ignorant? Have you ever been on a farm? Just what do you think we grow all those billions of bushels of corn for? If you grew up on a farm like I did, you'd know that beef cattle & hogs & chickens are typically fed a diet of corn & soy concentrate, especially the large factory farms.
A few other corn facts for you all you city-slickers from the Dept of Agriculture:
-The annual U.S. corn harvest is about 13 billion bushels a year.
-The U.S. accounts for 45% of the world's corn production.
-Corn is the #1 food staple in the world, for animals AND people.
-60% of the U.S. corn crop goes to animal feed, 25% for food & exports, & 15% to ethanol production.
Typical city slicker; clueless about agriculture. Ethanol & soy diesel are the absolute LEAST productive use of our corn & soybean crop.
your completely insane
I grew up on a 3500 acre cattle ranch we never feed cattle corn
we gave the Hay, Wheat, and oats.
Deer in Michigan will starve to death if they are only fed corn.
Ask a DNR person, and they will straighten that out for you.
You are surely just a liberal nutt that doesnt know his a** from a hole in the ground.
BTW Your communists didnt fair very well at their DC rally

And yet you are unable to dispute the facts from the Dept of Agriculture. Who gives a crap about deer? We're taking about the U.S. corn crop. I don't care if you fed your cattle baby kittens, my stats stand on their own.

Did your cattle go directly to a meat packer?

Most cows go to a feed lot first to be fattened up before slaughter.

And the feed lots use a lot of corn.

Be that as it may, it doesn't change the fact that 50% of our corn crop goes into animal feed. If you don't think corn is used for food, just what DO you think it is used for??

In France unit prices for energy are fixed by the government and the people pay Government Mandated Prices back for their power bills.

Again, you ignore the FACT that 50% of our corn crop goes to feed our cattle, hogs, & chickens. Just what are you planning on replacing that with? Wheat & oats? Get ready for $10 loaf of bread.

And if you think we're safer if the world which is starving, then you're even dumber than you sound. You think the illegal immigration problem is bad now, just wait till 100's of millions of starving people start storming our borders.
