Ron Paul received 35 delegates in 2008, he has 200 now and could double that at the convention. This is what you call a political process and the republican party would do well to listen or see people defect from their party.

A lot of people in the republican party are sick of these wars the waste of money and excessive debt with no plan on how to pay it off.
Makes sense

Well, I don't think having Jeb Bush as VP will get us there. He's a commie next to Bishop Rmoney. I mean what has he done that was so conservative for Florida and do we really want a Christian textbook maker if we elect a Mormon president? I don't think so.

GOP DELEGATES SUE TO BE FREE FROM ROMNEY

Over 120 delegates to the Republican National Convention have joined a lawsuit against the GOP arguing they have been illegally coerced into choosing Mitt Romney for the party’s presidential nominee and demanding they be “unbound” to vote for another candidate instead.

The federal lawsuit, filed this week in U.S. District Court in California by mostly supporters of Ron Paul, demands the delegates be freed to “vote their conscience” for presidential nominee at the party’s August national convention in Tampa, Fla., rather than being “bound” to vote for a certain candidate, as many state party bylaws require, based on the primary elections and other delegate selection procedures.

The tea party helped to bring in a massive change in politics in 2010. Yet the march to tyranny has continued unchecked. The tea party as one of its major planks when started, was ...MORE FREEDOM! Another was ....ENDING THE WARS! Somehow very quickly, the tea party was infiltrated. With names like FREEDOM WORKS which is pure bullchitt as you see the Repub voting in the congress now. The lies are in front of us. And we deny. Many tea party people running for office were destroyed by both mainstream Dems and mainstream Repubs. Ron Paul was targeted and neutered. Repub voters will end up with a presidential candidate that is questionable to their real beliefs. And when he wins has promised expansions of the military and our foreign involvement which may include war with Iran. Domestically, massive cuts are needed to keep funding this. If this scenario happens, Repubs will lose both the senate and house in 2014. Of course the Dems will not change anything. But they will talk the smack. Who knew that we would be the evil ones now? And the people are helpless.

Because the Repubs are failing to address the concerns of the tea party types we will end up with a viable 3rd party with in the next two elections cycles. I just wish the tea party would decide if they are the party of liberty or a religious group.

Seems to me too many people who claim to be representative of the tea party have strong religious attachments which they want us to follow. Take religion out of the tea party and it is for me.

IMPORTANT NATIONAL CONVENTION NEWS
The Republican National Convention begins on August 27, and you and I have some critical work to do to get ready.
As I shared last week, my campaign will have as many as 200 bound delegates and several hundred more on the convention floor who support our issues.

To stand with my delegates, I will be holding an important rally in Tampa on Sunday, August 26th. Everyone is welcome to attend. In fact, I’m hoping we’ll have a wonderful crowd.

They were co-opted and purchased by the Koch brothers.

The tea-baggers now defend the freedom of Billionaires to force the middle class to pay their taxes for them.

Some "revolution."

RON PAUL WINS IOWA!
LONG-TERM STRATEGY PAYS OFF THIS WEEKEND AS DR. PAUL WINS 21 OF 25 DELEGATES ELECTED IN THE NATION’S MOST POLITICALLY IMPORTANT STATE

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul has won a significant majority of Iowa’s Republican delegates to the national convention in Tampa.

Dr. Paul won 10 of 13 delegates elected at today’s state convention in addition to having won 11 of 12 delegates elected at last night’s district conventions, for a weekend total of 21 of 25 contestable delegates, all unbound.

Dr. Paul’s victory in the Hawkeye State affirms his delegate-attainment strategy and it has the added benefit of having occurred in the first-in-nation voting state, also a swing state.

What rotten delegates!

A delegate is chosen to represent those who voted in the primary for the candidate of their choice.

These crap-OPaul delegates are trying to pervert the sdesire of the voters to their own ends.

They have a duty to follow their pledged vote; and furthermore, are honor-bound to stay with that candidate until he is dead on the floor.

But, duty and honor seem to matter little to zeolots, and Paulism has graduated from a cult to a religion.

Mr_Bill has been a delegate to a National Convention, and knows of what he speaks.
