He really did believe in not spending more than you bring in under Bush when he voted for the Prescription Drug Plan, both wars, Auto Bail Out, Tarp, and then cut taxes to help pay for it.

hondacivic wants to do anything, anything but talk about Obama's dismal record. Here is what is important:

Probably because this topic isn't about "Obama's dismal record." Why don't you go find one and talk about it there. Until then, this thread and topic is about...
and I quote the first two words in this article "Paul Ryan."

My theory continues. Reporters, whether TV or print, are trained to do just that, report. Ed did it occur to you to ask about the lies Ryan has been talking about all across America? Did you ask about the Janesville GM plant that he said President Obama closed? Did you ask about the decimating cuts to Medicare that are included in his budget, that will turn Medicare into a voucher program?

And we found out on Friday that Paul Ryan was present with a group of Repuglicans who met in a tavern not 2 miles from the Capitol on the night of Obama's inauguration. These treacherous plotters violated the trust of the majority of the American People who voted for the new President. They, including Eric Cantor, Newt and others, agreed to stymy any plan that President Obama proposed, even if it would help American workers, veterans or small businesses. Mitch Mc Connell vowed to limit Obama to one term by stopping any legislation that would benefit him politically.

And the Repuglicans proceeded to to stop the new President, even at the expense of the American people.

That ladies and gentlemen is your Republican Party. Leaders that are liars and deceitful. And care more about their ideology than you, T-Baggers included.

Romney, Ryan,,Allen, Cantor, Hurt, and Eastwood; the saviors of the GOP. Sad, really sad.

No, what's sad, really sad is that Obummer had a super majority in both the House and Senate for two years and did nothing, I repeat NOTHING to solve this country's problems.

I am sure if Obama(that is how you spell it, not obummer)knew how much republicans were going to obstruct everything, he would have done a few things different in his first two years.

I will give Ryan credit as he is very serious about the budget, but he is not an economist. The economy is a very complex system. Many economist have agreed that balancing the budget in a responsible that includes increases in revenue and cuts in spending in a plan such as Simpson-Bowles. Ryan was on the debt Commision that said that Obama didn't take the recommendations from the Commision. Ryan is the one that rejected the Simpson-Bowles plan. Ryan rejected the plan because in contained tax increases. We continue to see that Grover Norquist is more important than doing what is right for the country.

Her use of dissociative narrative points to some DSM-4 issues, least of which is a lack of self analysis.

they say now that they caught Ryan lying a bunch of times in his speech and they say the people on Fox were the ones saying it. For one thing, he admitted we will have to borrow money to pay everyone 55 and older Medicare and his budget runs the debt up to $25 trillion, but the tea party could care less about running up the debt to $25 trillion as long as it all goes to them in Medicare.

But, he's lying that he can give the people 55 and older SS and Medicare because it is right on the National Debt Clock, the unpaid for promises to those who are 55 and older is $120 TRILLION (with a T) for SS and Medicare, so Ryan is lying to them that he can give them $120 trillion. He's using the idiot tea party to win, he's promising them their big fat socialism so they all vote for him, he's split up the country between young and old so the old tea party nuts vote themselves their socialism they claim to hate so much so the tea party can all live off of the government and have government health care, but, then after one term, they have to end SS and Medicare on the tea party. Otherwise all they could do is create a 25 percent national sales tax to fund SS and Medicare. The tea party thinks Ryan can borrow $120 TRILLION from China to hand to them in SS and Medicare. That is how Fking stupid and phony this entire tea party/Paul Ryan/Social Security/Medicare mess is now. Those dumb loons will sit there and believe it cause they are soooooo stupid. You ask them where will the government get $120 trillion to give to them in SS and Medicare, and the tea party is like "who cares, who gives one crap, Jesus will print the money, it will fall out of the sky, not our problem, who cares." These people should not be involved in politics at all and they should not be allowed to try to vote themselves trillions in government monies.

Great Virginians never envisioned a Lyin Ryan would exist. He would have been tarred and feather and dumped into the Boston harbor, along with the tea.

You need to do your homework again. Ryan did not lie about the plant in Jamesville it was temporarily closed and Obama could have prevented it from being permanent but did not, he chose to just let it go. Do your homework.

He didn't have a super majority - there were only two time periods during the 111th Congress when the Democrats had a 60 seat majority.
The GOP blocked everything - your're clueless and really don't understand how our political system works. Go back to school and finish your education ...at least get a GED.
The night Obama became Prez, Eric C, Mitch, da Newt, etc. held a meeting to make their #1 priority of making our Prez a one term Prez ... and decided to block all legislation.

Can you please provide a link? Everywhere I have seen stated that the plant closed in December 2008 which GM announced in October 2008.
