Democrats won't do it because they're cowards. Republicans won't do it because they've been overtaken by neocons who make billions/trillions from the status quo. Of course, the Democrats are getting their pockets lined as well.

RON PAUL 2012! The ONLY candidate with COURAGE. The ONLY candidate we can TRUST.

You know he is the only one out there who actually wants to do something bold about our problems and recognizes the un-sustainability of our current course.

Dr.Paul doesn't have a forked tongue, but he has a spaded tail, and devil horns. Be careful what you follow. Don't make the mistake teh Germans made, and blame all our problems on simple, wrong solutions.

Don't ever vote for anyone who hates our government. We the people are our government. Ayn Rand was a psychopath. We will vote for people who will keep our safety nets for the middle class and the poor. The GOP is only ever for the 1%.

You must live under a rock , just who do you think put us in the position we are in, yes those politicians we voted into office. Ron Paul does not hate the government he only hates to see it go astray trying to do things it should not.

And he was an unprincipled liar. So is Obama. So is Romney and Gingrich.(Santorum I'm not so sure -- I haven't followed him enough to know whether he is a liar, or if he is just truly as psychotic is he acts like he is.)

Many people seem to have a really hard time telling when a politician is lying to them -- you need to look at their record. Romney was for mandated health insurance before he was against it? Liar. Gingrich was against the governmnt involvement in housing while he was taking $1.6 million from the GSEs? Liar. Obama -- well, where to start?

Santorum, like I said, I haven't followed him enough to know. Just what he says is scary enough that I don't care if he's lying or telling the truth. He's either a war mongering lunitic when it comes to foreign policy, or he's trying to just use fear to get votes, or maybe he's in the pocket of some Military Industrial Complex special interests. Maybe all three. What he did with his pre-5-month miscarried fetus and his 3 little children really creeps me out -- and will likely scar his children for life. His record shows that he is a Big Government, Big Spending fiscal liberal, so if he's claiming he's going to balance the budget (haven't listened to him), then he's lying. And we NEED the budget to be balanced before this country collapses like the Soviet Union did.(It will actually be worse for us, because the dollar will fail and we're likely to take down a good portion of the world with us, and WWIII then becomes quite likely.) And he's a Constitutional-rights-stealing ultra-social-conservative, which is another thing I don't really care for.

One candidate has a solid record of defending our rights, proven he is a true protector of "Liberty For All", has a long record of following the Constitution, as well as a long record of saying one thing and then... doing exactly what he said he would do. That man is Ron Paul.

Santorum, while not a bald liar, is a theocrat. He wants everyone to conform to his religious beliefs and morality...this is far worse than liars, or a whoremonger like Newt.

Dr Paul is a different religious type. H is an inflexible worshipper of the past.

We can find lessons in the past; but not our future.. Paul's single-minded devotion to his misinterpretation of our Constitution is also quite dangerous.

Paul has no idea of the life or problems of the majority of the people in our country. He is a rube, which is forgivable; but he is also a recalcitrant rube, and borders on Yahooism. He cannot, and will not change his beliefs even to face new realities. Our ocean, for example, will not protect us as it did in 1830.

Paul is no 'defender of rights,' not with this publishing of racist lies. Until he admits his error, and that as times change, so must he, he is as useful as president as is a statue.

Ron Paul's hostility to government:
The government of the people, by the people and for the people?

Is the government "them" or "us"?(is the US a democracy)

Is a republic (representative democracy) your preferred form of government?

Is government needed in a 'society'?

celticwarriors says "We the people are our government.":
Is this true, and if so have we acted against our own best interests?

All your questions are answered in a small book named "Common Sense" by a fellow named Tom Paine.

stop to comparise this criminal moron with the best congressmen and the best politician in your country just like Ron Paul is- Ron Paul is the best politican in your country, who has mind, intelligence, who works for good of his nation and the country. You can look at www.issues2000.org and you understand it. Ron Paul is the only brave congressman, who was not afraid to say NO for bush´s wars acts, bush´s patriot acts, bush´s economy plans ( nafta, cefta, free trade with Africa etc.- it kills your economy ) This is the only congressman, who wishes withdrawal of all US troops from Iraq, Afghanistan, he has voted against increasing of salaries for congress and house of representatives. And was always against wars. This man is honest and not supported by lobbusts, then stop to insult the only normal republican as you have in this your congress and among all these candidates.
