Where did all you war supporters go from 10 years ago when they kept telling me the wars were necessary? Obama followed Bush's Iraq strategy and declared Afghanistan the good war.
It was a mistake to go in and it is a mistake to stay.
And the number 1 reason to get out? We don't have the money!!!!
“We borrow from Europe to defend Europe. We borrow from the Gulf states to defend the Gulf states. We borrow from Japan to defend Japan. Is it not a symptom of senility to be borrowing from the world so we can defend the world?”
“Are vital U.S. interests more imperiled by what happens in Iraq where were had 50,000 troops, or Afghanistan where we have 100,000, or Europe where we have 80,000 troops or South Korea 28,000,-- or by what is happening on our border with Mexico?...What does it profit America if we save Anbar and lose Arizona?”

I have always said these countries that want us to defend them should have to pay for that protection.
#7 Aug 14, 2012
Yep how stupid is our country to borrow money from them so we can defend them?
Military is one of the few things our government does well. Let's bill them not just for our costs but to make a profit. The more they pay, the less our deficit will be.
And what is sad is that both parties support these type of policies so there is no debate on the subject.
Who says we don't need a viable third party?

And in another story today, 7 more Americans killed in Afghanistan.
Is it time to bring them home yet?
Support our troops, bring them home.

ANd the Afghan story of the day:
"A newly recruited Afghan village policeman opened fire on his American allies on Friday, killing two U.S. service members minutes after they handed him his official weapon in an inauguration ceremony. It was the latest in a disturbing string of attacks by Afghan security forces on the international troops training them."
Are we there to help the Afghans or are we there for target shooting?
Is it not obvious to everyone that they don't want us there and we should not put our American troops in harms way? The first chance they get, they kill Americans.
Why are we there again?

2 more American military killed today again by Rogue Afghan soldier.
There have been 33 insider attacks so far this year that have led to 42 coalition deaths. That is a sharp increase from 2011, when, during the whole year, 35 coalition troops were killed in such attacks, 24 of whom were American.
Support out troops, bring them home.
