we have to stop giving incentives to
illegals to come here.
1. End birthright citizenship
2.. Deny all govt benefits to illegals especially free health care at
ERs and free school for illegal kids
3. Mandate e-verify for all jobs.
Do those three things and most of these parasites will self-deport.

"Comprehensive immigration will do very little" by its own admission the Heritage Fondation may be right but it will be better than doing nothing and to allow the creation of an atmostpheres of hate, anger and rage which is a dangerous precedence that can lead to extremeties, reform may also include provision that could allow states to have more authority over immigration controle accordingly to fit its needs on a state by state basis.

Hatered, anger, rage, paranoia, phobia, are apperantly still norms for some amongst our society today makes one wondered who are the real obviously short term benficiaries from these ills.

Well duh-uh! A lot of people won't agree with him, but I do! Our whole immigration problem can be attributed to, for the most part, the Reagan amnesty. They gave amnesty to approximately 3 million illegal aliens, and promised stricter border security.
This resulted in illegal aliens coming in droves, they knew how to bilk our system...and certainly took advantage of our lax border control.
Our leaders are too PC to address this in this way...Sad, but it's true!

Sorry, I don't agree with you. If you believe that passing comprehensive immigration is better than doing nothing and that to not do so would allow for an atmosphere of hate, anger and rage... you are very sadly mistaken. First of all, Americans feel the atomsphere of hate, anger and rage from illegal aliens who feel as though the now have a right to be here since they managed to slip through.
Second, as in Norway, dumping millions of people on a population, especially in difficult economic times will cause hate, anger, etc., among Americans. We are tired of the pimping and pandering to illegal aliens.
YES! There are other things that can be done...that are beyond "better than nothing." Let's start with supporting states that are trying to enforce our laws rather than file law suits in support of people who shouldn't be here and run counter to our laws!!!

I agree with you for the most part; however, with your #2, it wouldn't be possible to do. They can't deny treatment to anyone regardless of nationality or citizenship. Every hospital in the nation would get hit with valid and frivolous lawsuits alike.
Then as for the ending statement, they'd only self-deport themselves after they wear out their welcome at all the charitable agencies that are church type organizations to include Salvation Army and others like Good Will among the many private groups. The truth is that they utilize these more than they do social services provided by government agencies.
Either way, the immigration laws need to be enforced and Obama and other politicians need to quit catering to them because of some misguided idea that they are owed. My question to them would be, owed for what? Illegal votes from illegal immigrants or what?

We are making the illegal immigration issue into a carousel at the same time allowing the riding to be free rather than letting them pay.

NO NO NO! We don't need NO COMPREHENSIVE IMMEGRATION REFORM ACT, IT WOULD GIVE THEM ALL AMNESTY!!!!! NO WAY, NO WAY!!!!!

Take care of our own FIRST! That is a given.
We are having big problems that almost seem
to be unfixable. No jobs, our country is falling
in almost sector. Folks, your country, the families and our people have to depend on all
of us. WE can NOT afford these illegals.
We are broke. ITs your duty and mine to do
what this country expect of us.....Its our turn
to step up and do what others have done for us.
WHEN did you stop careing and become clueless?
